The fonds includes the research records and documents of the research group created and collected in the course of the project, which include theses, essays, interviews, papers, articles, news paper clippings, press releases, statistics, reports, acts and bills, oral history interview transcripts and tapes, and other records relating to the subject area of the project. The files also include transcripts of interviews with B C politicians and government administrators and research material gathered from a number of sources. Subjects include aboriginal issues, economic development, education, energy, environment, health, labour, land use, the legislative process, federalism, forestry, political parties, public service, and women's experience. The fonds consists of the following series: Catalogue series,1978-1983, Data Bank series, 1952-1983, and Oral history interview series, 1964-1987. All files were assigned a Data Bank Number by project staff (DB No. 1-1058). Several unnumbered files have been assigned numbers by Archives staff (DB No. 1059-1066).

The fonds consists of records relating to the Centennial Voyageur Canoe Pageant, including subject files of organizer Reg Fife, notes relating to preparation and planning, publicity, weather reports, correspondence, speeches, personal data of participants, photographs, and clippings and activity reports of the trial race.

The fonds consists of research files for his private consulting work, with some material by colleagues and students from the Centre for Public Sector Studies mixed in. Most of the files contain photocopies of studies and submission by native bands and organizations, government documents and reports, journal articles, brochures, and clippings. Many have been originally marked as attachments, but some of the number sequences are no longer complete. There are very few holograph markings or notes, and hardly any manuscript material.

The fonds consists of KCIR minutes, 1979-1984; Expanded KCIR Meetings and letters, 1980-1985; Reports and statements, 1924-1973; Communications with non-affiliated, Reformed, USCC, and news reports, 1947-84; Sons of Freedom meetings and letters, 1980-84; Statements from individuals, families and groups, 1950-87; and two manuscripts: "Gloom shadow of Ivan the Terrible," Anonymous, and "The Doukhobors: their history, life and struggle," by Peter N. Maloff. Many of the meeting files also include statements from Doukhobors.

The fonds consists of files documenting the silviculture issues considered by PASIS, and are arranged under the following series: Biodiversity and Forest Management, BC Reforestation Methods, Clearcutting, Forest Resource Development, Government Implementation of its Laws and Policies, Pesticide/Herbicide Concern, Public Awareness, and Correspondence and Reports.

The fonds consists of papers presented at the Liberal "Thinkers" Conference, including papers dealing with urban development, guaranteed annual income, poverty, collective bargaining, regional economic policies, family allowances, Canadian foreign and defence policies, Newfoundland resettlement program, bail, farm management, communications satellites, civil liberties, and freedom of information. Fonds also includes list of suggested readings and memo regarding proxy voting.

The collection consists of Treaty and protocol documents, and correspondence for the Minister's use. The correspondence Martin selected for inclusion in these volumes was limited to letters containing significant argument for and against the Columbia River Treaty.

The fonds consists of copies of government reports, minutes of meetings, notes of conversations with several fellow lobbyists including General McNaughton and Paul Martin, and correspondence received in response to his articles. The files gather much of what was written or published about the Columbia River Treaty between 1944 and 1968, and provide a unique chronology of the activities and strategies used to oppose it.

The fonds consists of correspondence between Stevens and Marinos Evanghelou Constantacatos, including copies of Constantacatos' "Money and Credit", Chapter 1, and "Money and Prices".

The collection consists of copies of Avio's articles on capital punishment; and photocopies of summaries of capital cases as prepared by the Remissions Services Office (Minister of Justice), which were submitted to Cabinet for consideration of clemency, on advice to the Governor General.
