This fonds would be of interest to researchers studying the origin and development of the Canadian Red Cross, the Canadian Red Cross Dutton/Dunwich Branch in particular, the lives of Second World War Servicemen and service organizations in Canada and Ontario in general.

Fonds consists of newspapers, photographs, financials, and personal documents relating to the professional and private lives of Carl Mantz, including his wife Elizabeth Gibson. Included in the fonds are records pertaining to the purchase and maintenance of the Whitby Weekly News building, correspondence and letters regarding his enlistment in the RCAF, programs and background information for the Ten Centuries concerts, and the meeting minutes for his initiatives concerning Whitby senior citizens. Of particular interest are the newspaper photographs which represent various events, people, and places of Whitby in the 1950s and 1960s. The fonds is composed of the following series: Elizabeth G. Fonds consists of textual, photographic, cartographic, electronic and promotional films/video recordings related to the mining operations of Cassiar Asbestos Mining Corporation (CAMC) and creation of Cassiar townsite. CAMC records primarily consist of records related to mining operations including construction, engineering, daily mining operations, administration of CAMC, tallies of extractions, labour and union activities, corporate events and visits by dignitaries. Townsite records are primarily visual representations of townsite construction, including the creation of health, education and community services including Cassiar's private hospital, school, library, as well as townsite images. Photographs include documentation of natural and man-made landscapes within the Cassiar region of Northern BC. Other holdings include a near complete run of Cassiar's community newspaper.

The fonds consists of photographs related to the history of the Caulfeild area of West Vancouver and the Caulfeild family, after which the area was named. The bulk of the collection consists of copies made from a photo album belonging to Mr James Caulfeild. Also includes scanned copies of personal letters written by James Caulfeild as well as business records relating to property owned by the family.

The fonds consists of minutes of meetings of the Caulfeild Property Owners and Ratepayers Association and correspondence, petitions, and notes regarding issues affecting the Caulfeild area of West Vancouver.

The fonds consists of a financial report (1942) and a list of residents who contributed to the addition at Speedway Hall and had their names inscribed on bricks on the north wall of the Cedar Community Hall.

Fonds constituted of photographs depicting pupils and teachers of Vellore School, 1898, 1900, 1924 (3 photoprints); an image of the congregation of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Maple, ca. 1890 in their Sunday finest; an image of a barn raising on the farm of Hon. N. Clarke Wallace of Woodbridge, 1899. Accompanying material includes lists identifying individuals in images and emphemera in form of vest pocket mileage guide, 1926 and copy of street map of City of Toronto, ca. 1920.
