The material in this collection belonged to the Burchill/Stoll family. The collection includes photographs, paintings, books, written records, genealogical records, letters, and other documents. The majority of the photographs are of the William J. Burchill family of Brandon, Manitoba. There are many pictures of family and friends, especially of Burchill's daughters in childhood and youth; some are casual photographs and others are formal portraits. Photographs are from family events, weddings, social gatherings, school, and during recreational activities. Also included are photographs of Edith Burchill Stoll's family and friends during her adult life after moving to Illinois. Each photograph is described at the individual level. There are three albums of photographs and the rest are separate. Also included in the collection are portraits of members of the Gibson and McEvoy families. Two of these are oil paintings. There are also prints and needle work. There are books in the collection which belonged to different members of the Burchill Family. These include Bibles, prayer books, a hymn book, an atlas, personal notebooks, and collections of poetry. The collection also contains genealogical records, correspondence, and written histories pertaining to the Burchill family history and to the history of the Canadian Prairies. Other documents include, will and funeral records; birth, marriage and death certificates; letters, postcards, obituaries, and newspaper clippings.

This collection contains photographs from the Gold Rush days in the Klondike collected by William Oley. The images include scenes around Dawson City, Yukon including 4th of July events, Robert Service's cabin, river views and streetscapes as well as scenes in the gold fields. There are images of the river trip to Dawson City from Whitehorse including one image of a church service at Tagish Post.

The collection assembled by William Morse reflected his research interests and his ideas on what works should be available for consultation by serious scholars. The exploration and early settlement of Acadia, the history of the Maritimes, the evolution of printing, the book arts, important classics in both the humanities and the sciences, the works of Bliss Carman and George Santayana, works about General James Wolfe, and Norse legends are the major research fields represented in the collection.

Also included is a handwritten letter to Colin Huggett (about Golding's three novellas, “Envoy Extraordinary”, “The Scorpion God”, and “Clank Clank”) together with its envelope.

The collection consists of photographs of Gilcher's tin shop in Dawson City, Yukon and of the men in the Dawson Sheet Metal Workers Union Hall, as well as a dance program to the Dawson Fire Department's first annual ball April 20, 1900.

Collection consists of material collected by W.G. Eakins, newspaper editor, documenting the trials of five individuals accused of bribing members of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario for the purpose of defeating the government of Oliver Mowat. The collection contains Toronto Police Court transcripts, newspaper clipping scrapbooks, reports of the Standing Committee and Royal Commission created to investigate the accusations, and Eakins' notes on their findings.

Collection consists of a deed pertaining to property dealings of Sir John A. Macdonald.

The collection is comprised of textual materials about the Green family and its significance in Summerside history, a Salvation Army songbook and minute book (dated Summerside 1902-1914) which belonged to Mrs. James Green, and a 2001 letter written by Gorden Potten about the Green house on the western edge of Summerside. The photographs are of Kenneth, Benton W. and Ella Jean Green, and the Green house mentioned in the letter.

The collection consists of copies of clippings related to the political career of William Delday.
