The collection contains images of the Lieutenant-Governors (1769-1985) and Premiers (1851-1978) of Prince Edward Island. It appears that the photographs may have been collected and copied as part of an exhibit of the Lieutenant-Governors and Premiers of PEI.

The collection consists of Thomas Robinson's commission of Adjutant Corps of Horse and Foot Artillery in the Queens County Militia in 1809 as well as his commission of Captain of the Royal Kent Corps in 1810.

This fonds consists of 11 photographs taken from the late Madge Smith's photo collection. The majority of these images are of the fishing industry and some are identified as being of the Rustico area, Prince Edward Island. One other identified photo is of Lieutenant-Governor Bradford William LePage inspecting the troops on Grafton St., Charlottetown. Three photographs are of Cavendish, including two of the "Green Gables" house and farm and one of a road in Cavendish possibly, the road leading from School Hill to Laird's Hill.

The fonds consists of one account book and four daybooks from McLure's Store in Murray River, Prince Edward Island. The account book covers the 1863-1864 period and denotes debts and credits. The daybooks give itemized accounts of daily purchases by residents of the community from 1869-1872 and 1875-1879.

The fonds consists of books and articles written by Allan Graham, and timetables of Canadian Pacific Rail (1970-1971), Canadian National Rail (1970-1976), Via Rail (1976-1979, 1989-1993), Amtrak (1977, 1981), Greyhound Canada (1987) and Acadian Lines (1987).

The collection consists of three photographs: Prince Edward Island Railway workers (mechanical branch), the cast of production of "In The Good Old Summertime" (Clyde River Drama Club), and a composite of 15 photographs of Eton Lodge (Sons of England) members mounted on cardboard.

This kit is a collection of excerpts from primary source documents regarding the Land Question on Prince Edward Island. The documents are divided inot two main catagories. The first group, printed on white paper and lettered A to N, consists of transcripts of original documents or parts of documents. The second group of documents, printed on coloured paper and numbered 1 to 11, is made of up photographic reproductions of selected primary sources. There is also a guide to the Land Question study kit.

This fonds consists of 55 photographs copied from Ralph D. Stewart's photo collection. The majority of these images capture the Charlottetown area and the Stewart family. These photos are said to have been taken by Ralph D. Stewart and his father Frank Stewart.

The fonds consists of 239 images taken or collected by Jack Turner. Images include rural scenes of Prince Edward Island, particularly the O'Leary area, and include farming scenes, trains, harvest excursion trains, fox farming, social events, images of the Turner home and general store and Turner family members. Approximately 99 photographs were taken during Turner's service with the Second Canadian Siege Battery (1915-1919) and capture images of the front lines, as well as daily life of the soldiers, and the after-effects of the war. Approximately 7 images are official war photographs not taken by Jack Turner. The fonds also includes images by Turner dating from 1958 to 1975 of a plowing match, veteran's parade in Charlottetown, a blacksmith at work, some scenic views, and Turner's granddaughter, Leah.

This collection consists of two pieces of sheet music with lyrics by Island authors, a booklet for the teaching of music to Grades I - VII, and listings of music teachers in Prince Edward Island schools from 1962-1994.
