Fonds consists of records generated in the course of the Whonnock Community Association's Historical Project, 1985. Fonds consists of photographic prints, audio cassette tapes with summaries, maps and textual materials. The textual materials consist of copies of church records, post office records, newspaper clippings, CP contracts and timetables, land registry records, collector's rolls, petitions, lists of businesses, sections of various BC Directories from 1891 to 1949, public school lists, visitors books and minutes. Also included are handwritten notes related to interviews and other research. An index box contains both a chronological index and an alphabetical index of important dates and people in Whonnock's history. Interviewees include Brian Byrnes, Isobel Byrnes, Cecil Blois, Olive Leaf, Mary Elliot (nee Drewry), Jean Eustice (nee Black), Helen Kolberg (nee Black), Harry Pullen, Charles Miller, and Mark Desrochers. There is also a variety of original and photocopied correspondence, many letters including reminiscences.

The fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, newsclippings, competition records from various Briers, and memorabilia.

The fonds consists of correspondence inwards (1859-1900), Wesleyan-Methodist church class books and family photographs. Early correspondence relates to family matters. Later correspondence is addressed primarily to W.R. Wright relating to his career in local politics. Fonds includes church "class books" (1838?-1846), listing many members of the Thomas Wright family. Fonds is arranged in three series: 1) Correspondence; 2) Church class books; 3) Family photographs.

The fonds consists of records relating to Louise Wright's schooling in Ontario, her career at Brandon College and Tranquille Sanatorium, and her fruit growing interests in Naramata. Fonds includes personal correspondence; education certificate, college notebook, and autograph book; tax records; business records relating to her Naramata property; pamphlets providing dietary information; and, ephemera. Included in the fonds are two paintings done by Wright in 1894 and 1896. The fonds consists of records of Arthur and Alice Leighton relating primarily to activities and military service in World War I. Fonds includes correspondence and financial records of the Leightons, and military records of Arthur Leighton, created during the war years. Fonds also includes childhood correspondence of Arthur Leighton relating to his schooling and activities as a youth, and some records of activities of the Leightons after the war. Fonds also consists of photographs of the Leightons, the Wright family, Arthur Leighton's service in the Boer War and World War 1, sporting activities including cricket and golf and social activities. Fonds consists of personal papers of the Willis family. Includes two agreements for sale for Section B of Lot 11, Block E, Nanaimo (1918, 1920), insurance papers, stock certificates, receipts from Acme Motors and correspondence related to the estate of Joseph Willis (1947).

Fonds consists of a letter written by Louise Fowler to Paul Constantine and Les Quinlan and photographs of the 1948 flood in Mission.

Fonds consists of papers related to the community involvement of Sharon Brown in Mission City and District. Papers relate to Fraser Valley Regional District Growth Strategy, Mission City Committee, Motor Sport complex History, Joint Steering Committee and Economic Strategy Committee re: Heritage Park complex, and B.C. Library Foundation.

The fonds consists of receipts for Normal School tuition (1939) and a certificate of appointment and acknowledgment of resignation as a teacher at North Cedar School.
