This collection consists of photographs and textual material. The 14 black and white copy prints are from the Bartsch Collection held at the Glenbow Museum and Archives. The collection, which includes the work of photographers J. Doody, Eric Hegg and Hugh Dempster, depicts for the most part the North West Mounted Police and the Yukon Field Force activity from 1896-1911. Other prints show sternwheelers, mines and mining, Miller Creek and artifacts from the McClintock Expedition at Melville Island. The textual material is a collection of miscellaneous papers which includes a business card for a Whitehorse store; 2 certificates of the Assignment of a Placer Mining Claim, 1900; receipt of stock shares, 1902; Bills of sale, 1902 and 1920. There are also 2 photocopied publications: a Bulletin for St. Paul's Church, 1908 and a program for Arctic Brothers' Annual Masque Ball, 1912.

The collection consists of 29 digital scans of postcards and photographs which depict a variety of subjects: the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition in Seattle, 1909; scow building at Bennett, 1899; Caribou Crossing (Carcross), Yukon; sternwheelers; and the Alaska Highway.

Collection consists of photographs of Yukon scenes including the frame of a canoe during construction, a log cabin, fish wheel, canoes and several of a fish.

The fonds consists of administration and business records generated by the Faro Co-op Association and its successor the Grubstake Co-op 1981 Ltd. As well there are miscellaneous photographs. The fonds is described in three series: administration, financial, orders and photographs.

This collection consists of a variety of photographs, newspaper clippings, programmes, postcards, menus and pamphlets concerning various topics and events in Yukon history and in the family of Gudrun Sparling. The Regina Hotel and Whitehorse figures prominently in the material.

The fonds consists of 929 glass plate negatives, primarily the work of H. C. Barley, official photographer for the White Pass and Yukon Route (WP&YR) during the period 1898-1902, and as such mainly document the construction and early operation of the WP&YR railway. The work of F. A. Callarman, a photographer based in Skagway, is also represented. Callarman's photographs date from c. 1899-1912 and consist of images of Skagway and other communities along the Yukon River system and scenic views both near Skagway and along the WP&YR railway. Besides extensive coverage of the actual construction of the WP&YR narrow-gauge railway, Barley's photographs also depict the activities of related organizations: the Red Line Transportation Company; the Canadian Development Company (views of roadhouses which were taken over by White Pass in April 1901) and the British Yukon Navigation Co. (BYNCo.) (views of sternwheelers and their construction). Subjects include early operation of the WP&YR, railway repairs, snow removal, construction crews and camps, accidents, blasting, surveying, excursion groups on the railway, officials and ceremonies, stations and trains. A large group of photographs relate to Skagway and include street scenes, fires, houses, businesses, schools, churches, the wharf area and steamships near the Skagway harbour. The fonds also includes images of Atlin, boat building at Bennett, Canyon City, Carcross, Dalton Trail (including Porcupine City), Five Finger Rapids, glaciers, leisure activities, mines and mining, North West Mounted Police (NWMP) roadhouses, Fort Selkirk, sternwheelers, White Pass City, White Pass Summit, Whitehorse, and the Alaskan communities Chilkat, Douglas, Fort Yukon, Haines, Juneau, New Metlakatla, Petersburg, Rampart, Sitka and Wrangell. Other locations include Green River, Wyoming; Port Townsend, Washington; San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver, B.C.

The fonds consists of original photographs taken by Harold Townsend while employed on a road location survey party north of Dawson City, Yukon in 1959. The photographs were removed from a report by Harold Townsend titled "Highway Problems in Permafrost Areas".

The fonds consists of photographs taken by Harry Carpentier and Army photographers during the construction of the Alaska Highway. They document all aspects of the construction, including leisure activities, views of bridge construction, camps, soldiers, and scenery. The photographs taken by Army photographers were sold or distributed to the soldiers.

The collection consists of photographs of the Kane family of Champagne, Field Johnson and others after successful hunts of grizzly bear and ram.

The fonds consists of four colour photographs of Prince Philip at the Mayo landing strip in 1959 and two black and white photographs of sternwheelers in Whitehorse, Yukon.
