Business series, 1948-1982 (pertaining to guiding, outfitting, trail riding, ranching, Andy Russell and Sons, royalties and lecturing); III. Writing, broadcasting and public appearances series, 1908-1990 (papers and photographs pertaining to writing, book projects, columns, broadcasts, reviews, advertising, promotion and other); IV. Photography and cinematography series, 1909-1990 (details below); V. Wildlife study and conservation activities series, 1945-[198-]; VI. Other activities series, 1931-[199-] (politics, interviews, information files); VII. Russell family series, [1867]-1983. Photography and cinematography series consists of: Riggall/Russell guiding activity photographs, 1909-1962, ca.280 items; Andy Russell and Sons Production Ltd / Andy Russell professional photographs and films, ca.1940- ca.1990, ca.4200 photographs (mainly transparencies), 28 motion pictures, accompanied by some textual and printed items; personal and family photographs, 1916-1989, ca.1550 items; collected photographs, ca.1940-197-, ca.75 items. Professional photography and cinematography primarily arose from field work by Andy, Dick and Charlie Russell and pertains mainly to flora, fauna and landscape of the Canadian Rockies in continental divide region, British Columbia, Yukon and Alaska. Motion pictures, ca.1950-1974, include original film "Grizzly Country" by Dick, Charlie and Andy Russell, produced by Evan J. Anton, ca.1969, copy print of same; also unedited wildlife and landscape footage of Waterton area, Yukon and British Columbia. Sound recordings are interviews with Andy Russell, [ca.1970]-1988.

This fonds consists of textual records, including clippings, publications, correspondence, pamphlets and other written material, and photographs generated by Angus MacFarlane’s activities as a coach, athletic director, politician, and active member of several sports, community, and government organizations and events.

Fonds consists of materials created and accumulated by the Angus and French families in the Wetaskiwin area from 1892-1985. The fonds consists of these series: 1. Financial (1901-1981) Consists of financial ledger books relating to the operation of the French family jewellery store, the R.M. Angus Implement Dealer (1909-1910) and the records of the Northern Alberta Fox Co. Ltd. (1930). 2. Personal (1892-1950) Consists of correspondence, photographs, glass negatives, certificates and other materials relating to the personal life of various members of the Angus and French families. 3. Ephemera (1899-1981) Series consists of newspapers, programs, photographs, and other materials relating to Wetaskiwin and Wetaskiwin area community organizations collected by the Angus and French families.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings of Jasper Ski Club (1974-1975) and a photograph of the Jasper Nancy Green League (1975).

The fonds consists of Dr. Ann Hall's research material for her book <em<The Girl and the Game: A History of Women's Sport in Canada</em>. The fonds includes newspaper and magazine clippings, theses and dissertations, profiles of various athletes and athletic organizations, copies of materials from various archives and the Sports Hall of Fame.

Fonds consists of copied photographs depicting three members of the Edmonton Oldtimers Baseball Association, dating ca. 1970, and depicting a house, likely on the Podersky homestead in Lacombe, dating the late 1800's or early 1900's.

The fonds consists of material relating to the personal life and community involvement of Anna Chree, a long-time West Vancouver resident who was active in many organizations including the West Vancouver Garden Club. The fonds also contains records relating to her husband William Ian Chree who was active in local theatre. The fonds consists of material relating to the personal life of Anne Sotvedt and her husband Henry, a professional ski jumper and ski store owner. They were both actively involved in skiing, ski clubs, and early ski competitions in West Vancouver. The material includes programs from competitions, newspapers clippings, ski club newsletters, pamphlets, brochures, sporting goods catalogues, and photographs.
