Collection consists of photographs related to the Fishermen's Protective Union (FPU). Included are a portrait of J. H. Scammell, (1894-1940) politician and President of the FPU, photographed by S. H. Parsons & Sons, St. John's and a group photograph by Holloway of the members of the FPU, identified, who were elected as members of the Newfoundland House of Assembly in 1919.

The collection consists of copy prints of older photographs of Sir Robert J. Pinsent and other family members. Subjects include the Pinsent property at Salmonier, Newfoundland; fishing on the Little River, Codroy; opening of the House of Assembly (1896); view of St. John's; and scenes of the Newfoundland railway.

Fonds consists of Letters of Patent and by-laws, minutes, correspondence, income and expense records, a time book, Bank of Montreal pass book, and receipts.

The fonds consists primarily of material accumulated and created by Lt. Col. Parker during the period of his military duties in Tibet and time spent there after his release from the military (1921-1924). This material includes textual records such as correspondence with Sir Charles Bell relating to military matters, and letters written to, and received from, Tibetan officers and the 13th Dalai Lama. A few letters written in Tibetan have recently been translated into English and are included in the fonds. Other textual materials include handwritten speech and other notes, published documents such as an Almanac (written in Tibetan), newspaper clippings, and miscellaneous items such as philatelic materials and handwritten children’s rhymes and songs..

The fonds also contains a collection of black and white photographs and negatives, the majority of which were images taken by Lt. Col. Parker, while others predate Parker’s time in Tibet. The photographs are housed in two albums (Photograph Collections A and B), and show Tibet primarily in the 1920s. The images depict military and domestic scenes in Tibet including photographs of individuals from all social strata, as well as local architecture and landscapes. Some of the places (e.g., monasteries) no longer exist. The albums also contain more recent colour prints of the many Tibetan objects acquired by the Parkers (and now housed in the Ethnology Collection at the Museum of Anthropology). Some duplicates occur within and between albums. The negatives correspond to prints in one album (Photograph Collection A). Only a small number of negatives have not been printed.

The collection consists of photographs depicting various events and ceremonies in Lions Bay and the after effects of the Alberta Creek flood. The collection is composed of two series: Ceremonial photographs; and Alberta Creek flood photographs.

The fonds consists of minutes, bylaws, receipts, financial statements, balance sheets and reference files. Fonds includes records of the Trout Creek Water Users' Community.

The fonds consists of tax and water records (1958-1963), assessment notices (1971-1973), tax notices (1971-1975), voters lists (1984-1991), mineral claims maps for Hedley and area, list of firefighters (1958), and assessment roll (1984).

The collection consists of documents, etc. concerning Sechelt and District's development and growth, residents' remembrances of early life on the Sunshine Coast and Helen Dawe's family history. The collection consists of 29 series and includes notes by Helen Dawe, correspondence, printed material, business records, government reports, Sechelt Council and other organisations' minutes and reports, photographs, maps, and plans, oral history tapes, slides and films, scrapbooks, books, newspapers, and local newspaper microfilms, artifacts and ephemera.
