This collection consists of records regarding Theatre Arts Guild's management and productions from the establishment of the guild in 1931 to 1999. Materials include administrative documents and some financial records, programs, posters, newsletters, histories of Theatre Arts Guild and information about amateur theatre in Halifax, correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings, and scrapbooks.

Marian Binkley fonds

Fonds consist of records related to Marian Binkley's extensive research studies on the fishing industry, particularly the health and safety of fishermen and the effects of the industry on their wives and families. Population data and research on the people of Fogo Island over a period of one hundred years is also included. Records consist of correspondence, surveys with fishermen and their wives, research on the fishing industry (particuarly with regard to health problems and fatalities), notes on findings and research, interview transcripts, and audio recordings of the interviews.

The fonds also contains records related to The Nova Scotia Centre of the Poetry Society, including correspondence; poems; and copies of the society’s constitution and by-laws.

Records include correspondence, Nicholls and Van Vliet family estates and wills, course material from classes taught by Nicholls at Dalhousie’s Law School and Queen’s University, meeting minutes from professional associations, Dalhousie and community committees and clubs that Nicholls was involved with, some photographs and drafts and published legal journal articles and essays written by Nicholls.
