The fonds consists of photographs depicting Vancouver panoramas, Victoria Harbour, animals, children, ferries, farming, and various B.C. towns.

The collection consists of sound recordings of Jewish pioneer and community figures relating to travel to and life in British Columbia and the Yukon from the Gold Rush era to the present. The memories chronicle Jewish life, community and organization development, and the transition from Jewish old world existence to that of the new world . Judaism and cultural elements, rural and urban life are explored in the interviews.

Textual records consist of legal records belonging to A.R. Leary including land deeds, mortgage papers, and fire insurance policies. The fonds also includes British Columbia history and geography textbooks, newspaper clippings, a June 3, 1948 issue of the Ladner Optimist, school certificates, a short history of Vancouver, May Day raffle tickets, rules and regulations of the Grand Black Chapter of Ireland, programs, receipts, notebooks, correspondence, etc. It also contains genealogical notes on the Leary family compiled by Mabel MacNamara and Laura Miller. The fonds includes photographs of men during the gold rush, Knickerbocker's Barber Shop, schools and students, Ladner Ferry, World War I tanks, logging, canneries, ferries, etc. as well as photographs of various members of the Leary family.

The fonds consists of portraits and photographs of early Vancouver (1888-1900) and Victoria as well as portraits and photographs of B.C. towns (1920-1931).

The fonds consists of Timms' photographs of Vancouver and other locations in B.C. depicting individuals and families, scenes and panoramas, businesses, buildings, streets, churches, and various modes of transportation.

The fonds consists of photographs of the Wrathall photography business in the Prince Rupert area. Photographs depict people (including natives), buildings, railways, and industry in Prince Rupert, Hazelton, and in settlements on the northern coast of B.C. and southern coast of Alaska.

The collection consists of photographs of people, events, organizations, and institutional activities relating to the Japanese-Canadian community, primarily in British Columbia. Many of the photographs depict scenes of Japanese-Canadian life in internment and relocation camps during and after World War II.

The fonds consists of ledgers (1886-1897), listing supplies sold and purchased by lodges throughout B.C., minutes of Onward Lodge No. 2 (1906-1911), quarterly return (1886-1889), listing amount and date received for each quarter.

The collection consists of documents and photographs intentionally assembled collection of discrete items documenting the following areas: the occupational pursuits of B.C. and Yukon Jewry; the organized religious life of Jews in B.C.; leisure activities; and the membership and good works of organizations formed to aid and represent the Jewish community, such as the National Council of Jewish Women. There is also a wide range of individual and family portraits, and photographs of headstones.
