Fonds pertains to the operations, programs, and congregational, heritage and community activities of the Church of Our Lord from its founding in 1874 until the present. The fonds consists of six series:
I. Administration series, 1874-2009, 2.5 m of textual records (Vestry and Board minutes and other records, Annual Meetings, administrative files and financial records).

II. Ministry and programs series, 1874-2008, ca.2.5 m of textual records and photographs (worship services, marriages, baptisms, confirmations, burials, Sunday School, missions and outreach, publications, fellowship, gatherings and events)

III. Committees and groups series, 1920-2008, 65 cm of textual records (youth groups, women’s groups, the Missionary Guild, other committees and groups).

IV. Buildings and grounds series, 1974-2003, 1.5 m of textual records, architectural drawings and photographs (restoration and renovation planning and research, Restoration 125 Millennium Project and other projects).

V. Topical series, [ca.1880-ca.2000], ca.75 cm of textual records, photographs and print material (biography and subject files, collected Bibles, publications).

The fonds reflects Wise’s artistic inspirations, philosophical development, research interests, interactions with fellow artists and patrons, and relationships with galleries, art dealers, schools and arts organizations.

The fonds consists of correspondence, sales lists, exhibition catalogues and lists, photographs, clippings, sketches, poems and calligraphy, scrapbooks and notebooks, teaching materials, curricula vitae and biographical documents, publications, and seals and other objects used by Wise in his art practice.

Correspondents include Robert Amos, Pat Martin Bates, Pat Bovey, Brian Brett, Lin Chien-Shih, Stephen Cummings, Fleming Jorgensen, Stephen Gislason, Colin and Sheila Graham, Robin Hopper, Nick and Karin Koerner, Ramon Kubicek, Lobsang Lhalungpa, Chin-Shik Lin, Brian Longworth, Max Maynard, Avon Neal, Gary Lee Nova, Toni Onley, P.K. Page, Syn Richards, Martin Segger, Doris Shadbolt, Madeleine Shields, Robin Skelton, Huston Smith, Pete Trower, George Woodcock, and Myken Woods.

The fonds has been arranged into four series: art practice; biographical; publications and essays by others; and teaching. The art practice series consists of five sub-series: photographs; posters; exhibition catalogues; correspondence; prose, poetry and small works; and notebooks, scrapbooks and clippings.

David Flaherty fonds

The fonds consists of the records of David H. Flaherty created throughout his professional and private life. They include project research files relating to his work with Canadian and international privacy issues during his time at the University of Western Ontario from 1972 to 1987; teaching and lecture files on early American history, and American and Canadian legal and constitutional history from his time at Princeton, the University of Virginia and the University of Western Ontario from 1963 to 1991; and his personal files including diaries, correspondence, photographs and subject files from 1949 to 2005, including those from his time as the Information and Privacy Commissioner of British Columbia. Within each series, the files are arranged roughly by date. The personal files have been divided by Flaherty into open and restricted files.
