The fonds consists of a hospital register or log of admitted patients to the Royal Marine Hospital, Victoria, 1874-1878, listing name of patient, country of origin, ship, age, admitted date, discharged date, and number of days hospitalized.

The fonds consists of minutes, a small pamphlet collection, the booklet <i>Rape</i>, several copies of a lesbian newsletter, <i>Rag</i>, and miscellaneous material.

The personal diary, 1952-1957, discusses weather, family and social activities, and some medical activities, and includes enclosures of programmes, invitations and clippings. The fonds consists of lists of death and burial records of Chinese persons in Victoria, BC, 1902-1923; Chinese deceased in Canada, 1937; leave permits issued to the Chinese Hospital in Vancouver, Victoria, and other areas of B.C., 1908-1909; donation and fundraising records, subscription booklets, records of income and expenditures, receipts, Free Miners Certificates, national bonds, 1884-1912; population data; correspondence from the Commander in Shanghai, 1932; minutes of the Chinese Public School; correspondence regarding donations for victims of famines, droughts, and floods in China, and booklets recording donations; records of the Chinese Hospital, including report books on patients, doctor order books and consultation forms, 1956-1976.

The death and burial records series, 1902-1923 consists of: medical certificates of death for Chinese persons in Victoria, BC; and burial permits for Chinese persons in Victoria, BC, including permits issued by the Chinese Benevolent Cemetery Company.

The fonds consists of correspondence, certificates, and reference material relating to Morrison's nursing career overseas during World War I and her service at Lampson Street School. Fonds also includes photographs relating to Morrison's overseas service.

The collection documents a century of progress in the nursing field. Some overlap with St. Josephs School of Nursing collection exists. The videotapes are of the chapel services arranged by the pastoral care team (Fairfield Health Centrea section of St. Josephs Hospital that has had a variety of uses).

The fonds consists of house chronicles; local council minutes; local accounts and visitations; financial records (comptes-rendus, annual reports and accounts, inventories and appraisals); correspondence; guest books; records of land transactions; biographical material; and, subject files.

The collection consists of graduation photographs: portraits of individuals and groups; some entrance classes, images made in connection with hospital work, a graduation film. Les Spencer negatives are available for many of the photographs, as they arrived in the archives with a number code, corresponding to the photographic print. Most of the collection is from records compiled by the alumnae of the School of Nursing. The Les Spencer fonds contains negatives of the School of Nursing and of St. Josephs Hospital. The Feniak fonds, for conservation purposes, has been incorporated into the class series. The Margaret Sangster fonds remains intact.
