Fonds consists of an inventory, taken in November 1942, of the furnishings and fixtures in the Auto Camp. Only three pages of the 300 page volume remain; the first 36 pages are cut out.

Fonds consists of a copy of the constitution (1953); a copy of a five-year lease from the City (1971); an exhibition prize book (1975); a blank entry form, and a newspaper clipping about history of the association.

The fonds consists primarily of applications, affidavits and correspondence regarding granting of crown grants to Nanaimo-area residents. Applications were processed in 1917, but include information about early settlers and the social aspects of their lives.

The fonds consists of a volume in which are recorded the accounts (1872-1904) of William Cartwright and the personal diary of daily activities (1882-1883) of Mary Cartwright. Volume also includes some poems and recipes. The original use of the volume appears to be the 1869 accounts of a general store, possibly the Horne Store. The accounts record many purchases by Chinese and Indians. Newsclippings (1913-1941) have been pasted over parts of the early 1869 accounts.
