Also includes photographs of the wooden roadway at the GTP wharf, a ship in the drydock, Third and Fourth Avenues by Peerless Studio, a view of downtown from Summit Avenue, northern BC bearskin for A.J. Phillipson Fur Dealer, a view of the harbour, Hayes Cove, Tuck Inlet, and Mount Hayes, and a watercolour card of the Portland Canal. Also includes correspondence from Hoomes K. Freeman regarding the Launch "Narbethong" from 1918-1921, correspondence and schedules concerning the Commission on Pacific Fisheries Policy, a letter from the Salt Water Sports Fishermen of Prince Rupert and Port Edward BC to the Honourable Romeo Lablanc, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, a proposed newspaper advertisement regarding a petition, a letter to E.W. (Ned) McLeod regarding upcoming Commission of Fisheries public hearings from executive director E.D. Danby, and copies of letters from commissioner Peter H. Pearse, Commission on Pacific Fisheries Policy. Includes a list of publications relevant to fisheries available at the Prince Rupert Library, notes from a meeting of a special committee of the Prince Rupert Rowing and Yachting Club to discuss an appearance before the Commission of Pacific Fisheries Policy held on 23 February 1981, and a notice of intention to appear before the commission dated 24 February 1981. Includes a Tsimpsean Lodge No. 58 communication bulletin for 11 April 1946, a Prince Rupert-Smithers bulletin from 1961 published by the Province of British Columbia, and correspondence from 1960-1968 concerning E.W. (Ned) McLeod when he was the retired Lieutenant Commander of the R.C.N.R. It pertains predominantly to the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia George R. Pearkes and his visits and tours of the north coast.
