Salmon Arm Forest District fonds

Fonds is arranged into four series and consists of aerial photographs and negatives, paper maps, and overlay. Majority of photographs are black and white. Color photographs date between 1989 and 1990. A separate collection is arranged for use by silverculturists dating between 1984 and 1990. Photographs are color. Aerial photographs were taken by the Department of National Defense and later by the British Columbia government. Fonds includes air photograph map indices. These map indices show flight line location and numbering of aerial photos taken between 1952 and 1994. Fonds also includes forestry district overlays; enlarged aerial negatives and photos; map mosaics; recreation maps of areas from Chase to Revelstoke to Oyama, BC; grazing area permits and licenses on crown land; and Federated Co-Operative Operational Cut Block Plans.

Salmon Arm Joint Water Board fonds

The fonds consists of minutes of the Joint Water Board/Committee (1943-1962 and 1970), correspondence, a list of licences granted (1909-1942), engineer's reports, forms of drilled wells, a statement, accounts of water transportation through village lines, timber sales, and a chairman's notes on the history of the board.

Fonds consists of correspondence, speeches, briefs, reports, articles, and newspaper clippings written and collected by Smiley during his activities as a member of STRRADA and the Salmon Arm Municipal Ratepayers Association while researching the water diversion scheme.
