The celebrations included installation of a May Day Queen, parades and other ceremonies. The fond consists of material relating to the personal life of West Vancouver arts philanthropist Kay Meek. The material includes two scrapbooks compiled by Kay Meek that contain photographs, postcards, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and brochures. The fonds also includes one drawing of the Gertrude Lawson House.

The fonds consists of photographs generated and collected by Jeanie Allan, pertaining to her personal life, schools, May Day celebrations, ships, and various beaches in West Vancouver. The fonds also includes a brief memoir of her time spent at West Bay.

The fonds consists of digital photographs selected and scanned by the Hollyburn Heritage Society. The photographs relate to people, places, and events on Hollyburn Ridge.
