The fonds consists of administrative records and photographic material from the North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club. The textual records consist of meeting minutes, correspondence and supporting material from 1923 to 2000, generated by the executive committee of the club and at annual general meetings. The fonds also contains a club history in essay form as well as three scrapbooks compiled by members of the executive committee, which contain photographs of all club presidents and the events that took place during their terms. Published materials include a club handbook from 2002-1014 and issues of 'The Toucher' newsletter from 1987 to 2012 and a club history. The fonds is divided into three series. Series one consists of records generated by the executive committee of the club. Materials include meeting minutes, correspondence and financial records. Series two consists of published materials. Series three is a club history scrapbook containing photographic material, newspaper clippings and textual records.

Fonds reflects the life and activities, in a public as well as private capacity, of the former City of North Vancouver mayor, John Edwin Loucks, spanning the years from the late 1940s into the first decade of the twenty-first century. Loucks' records are arranged in twelve series. The records consist of correspondence, agendas, photographs, cards, certificates and honours, events programmes, meeting minutes and reports, maps, pamphlets and newspaper clippings.

The fonds consists of administrative records of the club, including minutes, reports, correspondence, financial statements, cabin visitor books, summit registers, membership records and others. It also contains many hundreds of photographs, glass plate negatives, films and other moving images, as well as publications of the BCMC, including the B.C. Mountaineer, the BCMC Newsletter, as well as hiking and climbing guides in whose publication the BCMC was involved. It also contains many news cuttings relating to hiking and climbing in British Columbia and activities of club members. These records document many aspects of the club's activities including their involvement in mountaineering, advocacy for land conservation, and natural history. The fonds also contains the records of Mary and David Macaree which they created and accumulated during the course of researching their publications '103 Hikes in Southwestern British Columbia' and '109 Walks in B.C.'s Lower Mainland'.

The fonds consists of photographs created by Ronnie Tessler from 1986 to 1987 documenting a canoe project by the Nisga’a carver Norman Tait. The project was abandoned in the summer of 1987, and the canoe was left uncompleted. The photographs depict models for the canoe, transportation of the log for the canoe to the Museum of Anthropology, ceremonies performed throughout the project, and various stages of work on the canoe and model. Additional photographs from the same period depict a totem pole raising at Capilano Mall in North Vancouver and portraits of Les Baker, a model Tait wanted to use for a “white man” mask.

The fonds consists of black and white photographs and negatives. Subjects depicted include villages, boats and ferries, landscapes, bridges, logging clearcuts, and totem poles. Some of the photos appear to be of the Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

Fonds consists of records of the operations and activities of the North Vancouver Youth Band, including minutes of meetings, records related to fundraising, the organization and conduct of tours, and information on many of the people involved with this organization, particularly Band Director Art Smith. Many photographs chronicle the band’s activities.

The fonds consists of records relating to the business of the West Vancouver Transportation Company, which operated the first ferry system in West Vancouver. The records include general meeting minutes, board meeting minutes, a book of stock certificates, and two account books.

Fonds consists of the following record series: Vancouver-Burrard Presbytery and Executive meeting minutes (1959-2012); Subject files of the Presbytery Secretary (1959-1983); Pastoral Charge files of the Presbytery Secretary (1959-1983); Correspondence of the Presbytery;Secretary (1984-1989); and Presbytery committee records (1970-1983).

The collection consists of material collected and generated in the process of putting together an exhibition of postcards at Presentation House Gallery in North Vancouver. The collection is divided into three series: It Pays to Play postcards, It Pays to Play gallery files (including catalogue), and postcards collected as source material in the research process, but not used in the exhibit.
