The fonds consists of baptism, marriage, and death records of the Methodist, and Presbyterian churches which united to form this pastoral charge as well as records of the charge itself. It also includes membership and financial records and the minutes of official church groups. These have been intellectually organized into the following series:

The fonds consists of a baptismal, marriage and death register of St. Michael's Church recording these events from 1865 to 1986. Confirmations are also recorded from 1891-1984. There are also indexes to, and separate volumes of transcripts of the baptisms, marriages and deaths.

Because access to records recorded after 1900 is restricted by the Diocese, a break in the filming of the registers was made in 1895 and records after that date appear on Reel 2 although all indexes appear on Reel 1.

The fonds consists of baptisms, marriages and deaths of the Margate Pastoral Charge of the United Church and of its predecessor churches, the Methodist Church in Margate and the Presbyterian Church in Princetown. It also contains Quarterly Board minutes and membership records of the Methodist Margate circuit and a Minute book of the Princetown-Lot 16 United pastoral charge. The fonds contains baptismal, marriage and burial registers from Richmond Anglican parish, i.e. the Parish of St. Eleanor's and Summerside from 1821-1957. Records from 1900 on are primarily from St. Eleanor's as is the Vestry book which records the minutes of annual and special meetings of the vestry and congregation of St. John's Church, 1872-1914. These minutes deal with accounts, repairs and renovations to the Church, election of church officers, recruitment of rectors, and other church matters. The registers also include reports on the state of the parish made by visiting church officials (1889, 1893), lists of persons confirmed (1888-1911, 1945-1957) and of communicants (1834, 1846, 1850, 1889).
