Arthur T. "Art" Puttee fonds

Fonds contains one hockey goaltender stick used by Art Puttee while goalie for the Canadian hockey team (the University of Manitoba Grads) that won the 1931 World Championships in Krynica, Poland. Handwritten on one side of the handle is the text, "Winners of Turnbull Cup (Manitoba Champ), Abbott Cup (Western Canada Champ), Ross Robertson Memorial Cup (Canadian Champ). Played 21 games, won 17, tied 3, lost 1." On the outer edge of the handle is the text, "Total goals - for 113 - against 36." Other side of the handle has Art Puttee's signature. Signatures of other players are partially visiable across other parts of the stick; legible names include Doupe, Murdoch, and Chapman.

The collection consists of records aquired by the Association of Canadian Women Composers archives. The materials, which include musical scores and sheet music, concert programs and flyers, media clippings, and sound recordings, were donated by ACWC members. They document the activities and contributions of women composers in Canada and elsewhere.
Records consist of two series: Composer Files containing materials that relate to a single composer subject, and Other Materials containing records that relate either to multiple composers or to the subject of women composers more generally.

The photographic collection includes images of the mountains, villages, cities, parishes, and people of the areas where the Sisters from St. Josephs Province ministered or traveled. The album was assembled by Sister Merita Ward, who also organized into scrapbook form various memorabilia of her stay at the language school in Cochabamba, Bolivia, where she prepared for ministry in Chile.
