This collection contains photographs brought together by the Dawson City Museum, tracing the growth and development of the Yukon Gold Company and its assets in the Klondike in circa 1906 -1924. These images document dredge construction progress in some unidentified coastal city where the dredge was assembled and later disassembled for shipping to Dawson City, Yukon to be reassembled on the creeks in the Klondike Gold Fields. Installation of a syphon on Mission Creek is depicted. Photographs showing warehouses, preparing ground for dredging, cords of wood, mining country, dredge construction, dredging, Twelve Mile Power Plant, Yukon Gold Company mining in Iditarod, Alaska in 1912 and two prints autographed by David Elliot, of Treadgold's Lubecker chain bucket excavator construction in Liverpool, England. Also included are images of Yukon Gold Company construction projects and operations such as the Yukon ditch, flumes, dredges, North Fork Power Plant in 1915.

This collection consists of photographs from the Yukon Archives and contains photographs of the trails to the Klondike, early Dawson City, Yukon, law enforcement, entertainment, First Nations peoples and streetscapes and businesses in localities such as Stone House, Dalton Trail, Lake Bennett, Carmacks, Hootalinqua, Miles Canyon, Whitehorse Rapids, Five Finger Rapids and Tagish Post.

William J. Oley collection

This collection contains photographs from the Gold Rush days in the Klondike collected by William Oley. The images include scenes around Dawson City, Yukon including 4th of July events, Robert Service's cabin, river views and streetscapes as well as scenes in the gold fields. There are images of the river trip to Dawson City from Whitehorse including one image of a church service at Tagish Post.

The collection consists of Yukon Gold Co blank forms, Hydraulic and Dredging Reports, food invoices for different work camps, Mess Reports and Payroll Distribution Reports. The dates on the forms range from 1910 to 1914 and document the operations of the work camps and power plant on the Yukon Ditch near Dawson City, Yukon.

Vincent Vesco collection

This fonds contains photographs collected by Vincent Vesco and taken by photographer Frank E. Wolfe, of scenes of Dawson City, Yukon, placer mining operations in the Klondike, the Dawson City to Whitehorse trail, logging in the Twelve Mile district and some river pictures. There is one print of the Wolfe's photographic studio in Dawson City. All of the prints are captioned and dated with a mask used by the photographers during the printing process. These 20 x 25 cm (8 x 10 inch) prints were made from direct contact with glass plate negatives of the same size. They are most likely made on 'printing out paper', which is brownish by nature, rather than being toned. Most of them are in excellent condition, retaining phenomenal accuence, clarity of detail and tonal rendition.

The collection consists of two Sourdough Stampede reunion programs from August 14 to 16, 1930; letterhead from 1955/56 listing executive, honorary presidents, the executive committee, permanent members and past presidents; a newsletter from April 14th, 1978 concerning the 49th annual banquet; the Golden Jubilee get togethers; death announcements; and the comings and goings of the Vancouver Yukoners Association.

This collection contains a number of Klondike and Yukon-related items that the Vancouver Museum deaccessioned from its collection in 1992. The collection includes an assay certificate from the Dawson City CIBC branch ca. 1904; a statement of financial year from CIBC Whitehorse, 1906, signed by Robert Service; a cafe menu from the Arcade Cafe, Dawson, for Discovery Day August 17, 1936; a Squaman's Union membership card, 1926; a Dawson City Curling Club membership card signed by George Black, 1940; railway tickets for the Klondike Mines Railway Co. trip from Dawson to Grand Forks; and a newspaper clipping concerning Skookum Jim (James Mason).

This collection consists of photographs of the Chilkoot Trail, Dawson City, Yukon and Klondike Gold Fields, as well as a letter from Hazel Hartshorn Gloslie (b. 1893) describing her winter at Lake Bennett in 1899 written in 1972. The material was collected by Ms. Mills over her career as author and researcher.

This collection consists of a number of Teslin Hunter's childhood effects. Included are the covers of a drawing book and three watercolour drawings; a handwritten sheet of looseleaf paper; a few Valentine's Day-related items; a small colour card representing a Bible lesson; one loose 1 cent U.S. postage stamp; 17 postcards and greeting cards; and one cardboard advertisement.
