The fonds consists of two stories written by Jack Meloy entitled, "Frenchy" and "Pig". The story "Pig" is about the friendship between a lead dog and his owner. The original transcript of "Pig" was discovered in a cabin on Kirkman Creek by Andrew Taylor the summer of 1975. Though his party left the original in its place, Andrew Taylor copied the story, sent it to the archives as a typed manuscript in 1977 and inquired about permission to use the story in a book he was writing.
