The collection consists of photographs and textual records kept by Lillian Cheatham. Twenty-one copy negs and reference prints are images taken by J. Doody and Wolfe, 1900-1915, of Whitehorse, Lake Laberge, Dominion Creek, Bonanza Creek, dog teams, Dawson City, the aurora borealis and mining scenes. The six original photographs were taken in the Mayo area, ca. 1919, and show the Minto Bridge, Hotel Royal Alexandra, Keno Hill, Highet Dredge, Bug Town, and the steamer Nisutlin frozen at Minto Bridge. The textual records consist of photocopied photographs of Angus McIntyre and others, ca. 1920, Marie Joussaye Fotheringham, and Martha Louise Black. (A note written by Fotheringham to Lillian Cheatham is attached to the photograph of Black.) There are also photocopies of a postcard written by Fotheringham, entitled "A Memory of Lillian"; the front cover of Marie Joussaye's published book of poetry, "The Songs that Quinte Sang", 1895; and a birthday card sent from Fotheringham to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. The collection also includes two poems, "Greetings" and "To My Friends", and photocopies of two books of poetry written by Marie Joussaye, "Selections from Anglo Saxon Songs", 1918, and "The Season's Greetings to You", 1926.
