Walham Grocers Ltd. fonds

The fonds consists of records of the company's formation and annual reports (1963-1972), the articles of association and minurtes (1964-1972), legal agreements and shareholders cerificates (1968-1972), and financial statements (1965-1966).

Pioneer Broadcasting (CJXX) fonds

The fonds consists of financial documents (1981-1982), a newsclipping showing the five directors at the opening of radio station in 1979, a folder showing CJXX logo and slogan "Your Brand of Radio", and a memories document written by Pat Schneider. An accrual consists of scripts from the Heritage program delivered over radio from Dec.1979 until Dec. 1985. The scripts were written by Joan Yates from 1979-1981, by Heather Kirk in 1982 and 1983 and by Janice Epp in 1984 and 1985. Another series called "On This Day in 1958" sent on air in 1983 and was written by Heather Kirk. The material researched for the Heritage series was provided by the Isabel Campbell Archival Collection. A second accrual consists of a day's program log for CJXX from Wednesday, July 6, 1983.

The fonds consists of a collection of 35 mm colour slides showing Harry & Nora Watcher in their home and with their friends, and of the parades which went by the front door of their home on Richmond Avenue.

North Western Telephone Company fonds

The fonds consists of a researched history of the North Western Telephone Company, which pre-dated the Alberta Government Telephone Co. in Grande Prairie, and three photographs: two of the first AGT office, and one of the AGT line workers and switchboard operators on the steps of the AGT office. The history was compiled by The System Historian for AGT in Edmonton and contains exercepts from three sources: the minutes and by-laws of the Rural Municipality of Bear Lake No. 740, articles from the Grande Prairie Herald, and the personal and business papers of Anson Wagar at the Provincial Archives.

The fonds consists of material relating to the life and work of John and Irene Wallace and the Beaverlodge Nursery, dating from 1946 to 1993. The records include 2597 slides taken at variety of locations featuring nursery and horticultural activities and a wide variety of plant material, a video presentation prepared using several of the slides, and a file of various clippings and historical information about John Wallace, his work, and the Beaverlodge Nursery. The fonds is divided into two series: Slide Collection, and Clippings and Historical Information.

The fonds consists of records relating to the business interests of C. S. Hook & Sons, including businesses run by the company and subsequent businesses related to the company, and personal records of various members of the Hook family. The records date predominantly from the 1940s to the 1970s. Geographically, the records relate to the Peace Country of Alberta and British Columbia, particularly Grande Prairie, where the head office was located and members of the family lived, and Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, and Peace River, where the business operated branch stores. The fonds is arranged in two series: Business and Personal, each with several subseries. An order has been established by the processing archivist based primarily on the content and chronology of the records as the original order had been disrupted.
