Fonds consists of materials created and collected by Stanley Gardiner of the Wetaskiwin area. The material in the fonds primarily dates from ca.1910-1980 but also includes an 1841 document collected by Mr. Gardiner to pursue his interests in stamp collecting. Fonds includes Stanley Gardiner's personal correspondence, autograph books, and cards addressed to Mr. Gardiner and members of the Gardiner family and unidentified photographs believed to be friends and family members of Mr. Gardiner.

The fonds consists of materials created by the Wetaskiwin Centennial Committee from 1990-1992 in the course of carrying out their mandate of organizing a centennial celebration for the City of Wetaskiwin and Wetaskiwin School District #264 in 1992. The fonds consists of these series: 1. Chairman's records (1990-1992) Series consists of minutes and correspondence of the Centennial Committee chairman. 2. Secretary's records (1990-1992) Series consists of minutes and correspondence of the Centennial Committee secretary. 3. Treasurer's records (1990-1992) Consists of financial documents and correspondence created or collected by the Centennial Committee treasurer. 4. Naval Reserve Band (1992) Consists of publicity materials and photographs of the National Band of the Naval Reserve relating to their performance in Wetaskiwin at the centennial celebrations.

The fonds consists of materials relating to the operation and administration of the Wetaskiwin Girl Guides Association. Because of the large number of accessions, the fonds has not yet been given series. Inventories reveal that the fonds consists of correspondence, documents and aerial maps relating to Girl Guide camps (1942, 1946, 1963-1966); photographs of Girl Guides, Wetaskiwin Brownie Pack and leaders (1929); minutes and records of activities and badges (1959-197-?); photographs of Boy Scouts (193-?); photographs of Girl Guides (1934-1954); booklet entitled "History of Girl guides in Wetaskiwin, 1919-1967 (1967); records of some activities of the Wetaskiwin Girl guides Association (1949-1960) including correspondence of the Wetaskiwin Division Commissioner; a Girl Guide registration card (ca.1919); scrapbooks, certificates, publications and photographs of girl guide activities(1935-197-?); a photograph album and scrapbook (1965-1984); and a photograph of a group of Girl Guides receiving the "Scroll of Friendship" (194-?).
