The fonds consists of materials created by the Wetaskiwin Ladies' Curling Club from 1927- 1979. The fonds consists of these series: 1. Administrative (1927- 1979) Series consists of minute books of the Wetaskiwin Ladies' Curling Club from 1927 to its decision to cease operations and join the Wetaskiwin Curling Association in 1979. 2. Financial (1960- 1978) Series consists of receipt books, invoices, returned checks and other materials related to the financial operations of the club. 3. Miscellaneous (1960- 1970) Consists of correspondence and newsletters from the Northern Alberta Ladies' Curling Association, trophy catalogues, and listings of bonspiel prize donations.

Because of the large number of accessions, the fonds has not yet been given series. Inventories reveal that the fonds consists of correspondence, documents and aerial maps relating to Girl Guide camps (1942, 1946, 1963-1966); photographs of Girl Guides, Wetaskiwin Brownie Pack and leaders (1929); minutes and records of activities and badges (1959-197-?); photographs of Boy Scouts (193-?); photographs of Girl Guides (1934-1954); booklet entitled "History of Girl guides in Wetaskiwin, 1919-1967 (1967); records of some activities of the Wetaskiwin Girl guides Association (1949-1960) including correspondence of the Wetaskiwin Division Commissioner; a Girl Guide registration card (ca.1919); scrapbooks, certificates, publications and photographs of girl guide activities(1935-197-?); a photograph album and scrapbook (1965-1984); and a photograph of a group of Girl Guides receiving the "Scroll of Friendship" (194-?).

Scrapbook (1954- 1971) Series consists of a scrapbook containing photographs and newspaper clippings relating to the Wetaskiwin Friendship Club. 2. Minutes (1973-1982) Series consists of minute books from 1973 to the club's dissolution in 1982. 3. Guest Books (1973-1981) Consists of books listing club guests.

The fonds consists of materials created or compiled by the Wetaskiwin Civil Defence Association from 1954-1978. The fonds consists of these series: 1. Publications (1954-1978) Consists of publications, pamphlets, information brochures, newsletters and other materials pertaining to civil defence and civil defence associations in Alberta. 2. Phone Books (1965-1967) Series contains Wetaskiwin area phonebooks used by the WCDA in the course of their operations. 3. North-Am Races and Carnival (1971-1974) Series consists of correspondence, publication materials, tickets and other materials for the North Am snowmobiles races in Wetaskiwin. The WCDA was responsible for traffic control and first aid at the races, at the time the largest snowmobile races in North America.

The fonds contains materials created by the Wetaskiwin Centennial Committee fonds in 1966- 1967. The fonds consists of this series: 1. Minutes (1966- 1967) Series consists of two books of committee minutes documenting the activities of the Wetaskiwin Centennial Committee.

The fonds consists of materials created by the Wetaskiwin Centennial Committee from 1990-1992 in the course of carrying out their mandate of organizing a centennial celebration for the City of Wetaskiwin and Wetaskiwin School District #264 in 1992. The fonds consists of these series: 1. Chairman's records (1990-1992) Series consists of minutes and correspondence of the Centennial Committee chairman. 2. Secretary's records (1990-1992) Series consists of minutes and correspondence of the Centennial Committee secretary. 3. Treasurer's records (1990-1992) Consists of financial documents and correspondence created or collected by the Centennial Committee treasurer. 4. Naval Reserve Band (1992) Consists of publicity materials and photographs of the National Band of the Naval Reserve relating to their performance in Wetaskiwin at the centennial celebrations.

The fonds consists of records of the Wetaskiwin Anti-Pollution Committee from 1972-1990. The fonds consists of these series: 1. Financial (1972-1989) Series consists of statements and receipts relating to the operations of the committee, bank books, taxation records and other materials relating to the financial operations of the Wetaskiwin Anti-Pollution Committee. 2. Miscellaneous (1972-1990) Consists of miscellaneous papers of the committee.

Fonds consists of materials created and collected by Stanley Gardiner of the Wetaskiwin area. The material in the fonds primarily dates from ca.1910-1980 but also includes an 1841 document collected by Mr. Gardiner to pursue his interests in stamp collecting. Fonds includes Stanley Gardiner's personal correspondence, autograph books, and cards addressed to Mr. Gardiner and members of the Gardiner family and unidentified photographs believed to be friends and family members of Mr. Gardiner.
