Collection consists of records dating 1912-1973 and includes a report on the Canada Land and Irrigation Company Limited, which contains maps and photographs of areas in Medicine Hat, Alberta, a report entitled <em>The Lost Mine of the Saskatchewan</em>, and a brief history of Medicine Hat. Fonds also includes various photographs relating to engineering, railroads, land and irrigation, and farming.

Fonds consists of negatives dating after 1915 and before 1936, depicting bush pilots, planes, a homestead, and a field hospital. Fonds also includes photographs of certificates inscribed to Arthur Massey (Matt) Berry.

LaRue, copies of the Alberta citizens registration covenant dating ca. 1932, photographs depicting the Holy Family Seminary at St. Albert, Alberta, the first St. Albert city council, and various stores and hotels in Edmonton, St. Albert, Athabasca, Alberta, dating 1900-1908. It includes also a photograph of the store (built 1908) owned by Segismond and Theodore LaRue in Winterburn and the residence of Theodore LaRue (built 1913), with Athala LaRue in doorway.

The collection consists of materials pertaining to the activities of the Alberta Agricultural Centennial Committee in 1967. The collection includes programs, pamphlets, bulletins, and two blueprints documenting the burial of a centennial cairn.

The fonds consists of the records of the Alberta Farmers' Union, and includes a copy of "The Alberta Farmers' Union Non-Delivery Strike, September 6 to October 5, 1946" by Helen Foster; audio discs, specifically transcription discs and 78 R.P.M. discs of speeches and musical recordings; a scrapbook containing correspondence, newspaper clippings, newsletters, briefs, press statements and printed material about the 1946 Alberta Farm Strike, compiled by the Publicity Department of the Alberta Livestock Co-operative Limited; and newspaper clippings, minutes and other miscellaneous material.
