Lieutenant Governor's Purse collection

Grant MacEwan College Music Library radio audio disc collection

The collection consists of 78 rpm, 33 1/3 rpm, LPs, microgroove, shellac, acetate, vinyl, and transcription audio discs that comprised Sunwapta Broadcasting's (CFRN Radio's) music library for radio broadcast, and David Lennick's personal record collection. These two collections were intermixed by the Grant MacEwan College Music Library so are no longer distinct entities. The collection consists mainly of popular music, sound effects, production music, and syndicated radio plays and programs. The original Sunwapta Broadcasting Co. collection consisted of approximately 14,500 audio discs of a mix of American, Canadian, British and other commercial recordings of music, 1920s to 1950s, that comprised Sunwapta Broadcasting's (CFRN's) music library for radio broadcast. Music genres include big band, Christmas, classical, country/western, easy listening, ethnic, pop/jazz vocalist, folk, French, gospel/spiritual, instrumental/easy listening, jazz, military, novelty, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and sacred. The original David Lennick collection consisted of approximately 2500 audio discs of a mix of American, Canadian, British, and other commercial recordings of sound effects, production music, syndicated radio plays and programs, and classical, jazz, western and popular music.

Opening of Fort Edmonton Park collection

The collection consists of material commemorating the dedication ceremony of Fort Edmonton Park in 1967 collected by R.O. Harrison, Director of the Provincial Museum of Alberta. The collection includes a clipping from The Edmonton Journal, an invitation, a program, a letter requesting a copy of the dedication speech by V.M. Dantzer from R.O. Harrison to V.M. Dantzer and a reply from V.M. Dantzer, and a map of Fort Edmonton Park.

Danard Great Northwest Pioneer Village Photograph collection

The collection consists of images documenting Danard Great Northwest Pioneer Village in 1966. The collection includes views of Ukrainian dwellings, a Greek Orthodox Chapel, Peter Erasmus' house, Earl Danard, furniture, horse drawn cutters and buggies, farm equipment, fire fighting equipment, a sod house, the Kreye House, the Excelsior Methodist Church, a building of the Northwest Trading Co., one of the first post offices in Namao, a blacksmith shop, and the Bellrose Catholic Public School.

The collection consists of nine 1930s "sceneograph" photographs and the postcard envelop that contained the photographs, made by the Gowen Sutton Company (Co.) Limited (Ltd.) of Vancouver, British Columbia. The photographs feature various locations in Edmonton including the Alberta Legislature, the High Level Bridge, the Low Level Bridge, the Hotel MacDonald, the river valley, downtown Edmonton, 100th Street, Jasper Avenue, and Riverside Park swimming pool (later renamed Queen Elizabeth Pool).
