The collection consists of a copy of a liquor license made out to Leslie Larson from 1912, the January 20, 1936 issue of the Edmonton Journal announcing King George V's death, a membership list for the (1914) Red Chevron Club Edmonton, a typed copy of Army Order 4 -- 1918, presented to the Red Chevron Club in 1938, program from Trooping the Colour in Ottawa in 1939, Pay and Allowance Regulation for the Permanent and Non-Permanent Active Militia (1937) and a photograph taken at the first exhibit of commercial livestock at the Edmonton Exhibition in 1921 (McDermid Studio print). The fonds also includes 15 glass plate negatives, of which 14 are cartoons from the First World War by Bruce Bairnsfather and one is a portrait of Bruce Bairnsfather.

The collection consists of photographs that depict various sites, people, and community events in a quadrant of Alberta to the southeast of Red Deer that is bordered by the communities of Three Hills, Drumheller, and Youngstown. Most of the photos focus on Youngstown and surrounding villages. The photos depict baseball games, picnics, the interior of a Drumheller coal mine, a group portrait of recent army recruits from Youngstown in 1916, unidentified people and farm sites, and various businesses/buildings in the area.

Collection consists of various pamphlets regarding the postal system in Canada dating 1914-1931, blank letterhead for Strathcona's Horse, an advertising newsletter for the dentist Dr. H. Barrie Millican of Calgary, Alberta dated ca. 1919, a contest poster from General Mailstores System Company dated 1929, circulation advertisements for <em>The Nor-West Farmer</em> dating 1918-1926, postal vouchers dated 1925, a notice from the <em>Edmonton Journal</em> circulation department dated 1930, an undated copy of <em>The Canadian Glider Boosters</em>, an undated glass plate negative depicting an unknown man, and an undated photograph depicting Howard Douglas. Fonds also includes a copied map depicting western Canada dated 1790, and various other maps depicting areas in northwestern Canada in the years 1874-1916 such as the North West Mounted Police territory, the Canadian Pacific Railway lines, the Riel Rebellion territory, the Elevators in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, and the Northern and Southern Alberta Disposition of Lands.

The collection is made up of five photographs donated to the Provincial Archives of Alberta from the collection of the Medicine Hat Museum and Art Gallery. The photographs include one photo of soldiers and nurses in front of St. Stephen's College, University of Alberta, one of Cadomin Mines, one of construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway bridge in Edmonton, one of construction of the High Level Bridge in Edmonton, and one of the horse "Edgewood Boy" owned by Alex Galbraith and Sons, Edmonton.
