Fonds consists of records accumulated by Leone Hinds related to Guelph's Sesquicentennial in 1977. Included are pamphlets and booklets outlining the activities, lectures and other events held to celebrate Guelph's 150th birthday. There are also six postcards of various Guelph buildings and one plastic bag with the slogan "Keep Guelph Clean and Beautiful." Also of interest is a Guelph Public Library Rules and Regulations booklet.

The photographs document a wedding as it relates to several Guelph residents. A more detailed account of the activities of some of those pictured accompanies the photographs.

Collection consists of city directories, which since 1875, have made up of two parts: an alphabetic listing of people’s last names giving their occupation and home address and of street names. The directories may also contain advertisements of local area businesses and brief facts on population and average household income. Earlier directories included communities other than Guelph such as Erin, Peel, Minto and Puslinch Townships.

The directories are arranged chronologically by year.

This collection consists of audio visual records collected by the Guelph Public Library archives. The audio visual recordings cover a wide range of topics coverings various aspects of the City of Guelph and its history. Included are materials created by Edward Johnson, the Guelph Light Opera Company, the Guelph Youth Orchestra, and Tamarack.

This fonds consists of posters created and or accumulated by the What's Up Postal Service. These records document the business activities of this service which created publicity materials for various Guelph based organizations and events. Series consists of family history rearch materials created and or acquired by Robert Barry Scott during the course of researching his family's history. Included are the Scott family tree complied by Robert Scott, the Scroggie family tree, biographies of Mr. Scott and other family members, and orginal hand written letters with transcriptions.
