John A.M. Galilee collection

Collection consists of a note written by Arthur Orton (1834-1898), widely known as "the Claimant", during the Tichborne case in England during the 1860s and 1870s. The note is believed to have been written by Orton during his criminal case trial (Regina v. Castro) in 1873.

Collection consists of framed photographs accumulated by Albert Abramson, a lawyer with law firm Cassels Brock & Blackwell. These photographs are portraits of five lawyers: John Bell Holden, Sidney Hamlin Robinson, Percy Claire Finlay, James Young Murdoch, and William Smith Walton. Each was a member of the law firm Holden, Murdoch, Walton & Beatty in Toronto during the 1930s.

Collection consists of programmes for various legal events, a letter, an Osgoode Hall Law School students' handbook, and a photograph, all maintained by Edward J. Houston. A signed copy of "The Honourable Society of Osgoode Hall" by C.H.A. Armstrong, which originated from the library of Sir Lyman Duff, has been transferred to the Archives' reference library.

Patricia Skidmore collection

Collection consists of two sets of oral history projects prepared by Ann McKerlie, a student under the supervision of Professor Patricia Skidmore as part of an oral history course at Brescia University College, a women's college located in London, Ontario. The projects pertain to oral history interviews with five female judges: Justice Lucy Glenn, Justice Katie McGowan, Justice Helen Rady, Justice Lynda Templeton, and Justice Mary Marshman. Included with each interview is a letter of introduction, a set of interview questions, full or partial transcripts of the interview, indexes, a release form, and a thank you letter. Each set of interviews includes an outline of the interviewer's comments, a time log, a bibliography, an essay, and audio cassettes containing recordings of the interviews. The second set of interviews also includes a research paper by Ann McKerlie entitled "Gender and the bench: women judges in the Ontario provincial and superior courts".
