*#13 Literature and Authors

A wide variety of types of records make up the series, many of which were used by Carl Ridd either as a student or professor at the University of Winnipeg. The work of Albert Camus, Herman Melville and Fyodor Dostoevsky receive the most extensive treatment in the series. Although the records in this series connect strongly to the documents found in sub-series #11A (Carl Ridd as Professor) and #11B (Carl Ridd as Student), the materials in this series have been grouped according to the author whose work they pertain to rather than the course or topical subject that they illumine. As such, they have been gathered together into their own series. Many of the folders that comprise this series contain only a small number of documents.
