This folder contains a collection of handwritten tributes to Mrs. E. L. Curts from 1855. Several images are also included in the album. The tributes are written by a variety of individuals.

This series includes one copy each of The New Testament (An American Translation, Goodspeed, 1923), New Testament in Greek (Westcott & Hort, Student’s Edition With Lexicon, 1896) and The Scripture Atlas, 1878 by W. & A. K. Johnston (containing maps of Egypt, Sinai, Palestine and Jerusalem) [includes an image from 1867].

The sermons in this series relate to the life, ministry, character, nature and death of Jesus, the nature of God, the writing and life of Paul, various biblical characters and the biblical text itself. A folder gathering together partial or incomplete transcripts, as well as other types of addresses given by Johns, is also included. This series contains sermons that were not previously identified by Johns as belonging in any group or series and that were not readily associated with any church event or holiday. The sermons in these folders pertain to being a Christian, especially in relation to (then) modern politics, economics, world events and religions. The 10 folders comprising this series are labelled 120-1 through 120-10 in the fonds.

This series contains sermons that were grouped based on the portion of the church year (eg. Easter, Christmas) or church event (eg. Communion services) which they correspond to. Sermons pertaining to missions work, Masonic addresses and talks given to young people are also included in this series. This series contains photographs that were found amongst Ridd's textual records. The photographs originate primarily from Ridd's academic work, ministerial work, interest in Central America and participation in sports. Some photographs of Ridd that appear to have been displayed (mounted on foamcore) are also present. Photographs from Ridd's immediate and extended family are not found in this series.

The surviving records of George A. McMillan include approximately 347 color slides and 49 black and white still images depicting northern communities in the 1950s (Berens River, Churchill, Cross Lake, Fisher River, God’s Lake, Herb Lake, Illford, Indian Springs, Island Lake, Kelsey,Little Grand Rapids, Lynn Lake, Moak, Nelson House, Norway House [including the Residential School and Rossville], Oxford House, The Pas, Poplar River, Red Sucker Lake, Sandy Lake, Snow Lake, South Indian Lake, Thicket Portage, Thompson, Wabowden; also Brandon Industrial School, Portage la Prairie Indian Residential School and Vita). Textual records pertaining to McMillan’s ministerial work in various pastoral charges (St. Stephens-Broadway [Winnipeg], Dauphin Plains, Benito, Thunder Hill, Grandview, Miniota, Sparling [Winnipeg] and Knox [Fort Frances]), work in Christian Education, work as Conference President, work in radio broadcasting (both for the Christian Education Committee and Manitoba Conference’s Radio Committees) and work as Superintendent of Home Missions are also included in the fonds. Biographical records regarding McMillan can also be found in the fonds. Finally, records collected by McMillan pertaining to church Union, historical figures (John Wesley, John Black, Samuel Matheson) and mission work amongst First Nations groups exist within the fonds.
