Collection consists of a scrapbook, compiled by Annabel Yates, of Nanaimo people and places, and a mimeographed booklet titled "The History of Nanaimo 1852 to 1939". The booklet, compiled by members of Division One, Brechin Superior School, under the supervision of a teacher D.E. Brecenridge, contains illustrated historical articles with hand-drawn advertisements for local businesses.
