The fonds consists of visitor's registers (1909-1959), a teachers' register (1914), lists of teachers and courses (1948-1975), minutes of teachers' meetings (1946-47), student council minutes (1975-1977) and accounting book; invitation, program and guest book for the opening of A.L. Fortune Secondary School (1978), graduation and theatre programs (1945-2005), school newspapers (1912, 1936-1993) and annuals 1948-2005), a history of the school: 'Schools of Enderby and District, 1896-1965' by Ruby Lidstone, a scrapbook with honour and merit rolls (1984-1988); a videotape of graduation ceremonies (1990) and school activities (1996); and audiocassette tape of students interviewed by CBC (1998). Fonds also includes records relating to a 1990 school musical, including 150 slides, script, program, directors' notes and stage directions.

Fonds includes a speech describing Fortune's first impressions of British Columbia (1906), a speech describing early B.C. when the first Sunday Schools were established (1913), photocopies of reminiscences of the Overland Trek (originals at the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives and Calgary), photocopies of essays titled Earthquake and Rum and Shuswap Indians (originals at B.C. Provincial Archives), correspondence with John Ross and J.G. Burns (1905-1908), receipts (1908), and a program with photograph honouring Mr. and Mrs. Fortune (1911).

Fonds consists of material collected and created by Art Powell concerning forest history during his research. Includes audiocassette tapes and transcripts, photographs, a binder of notes from the Enderby newspapers, one original essay. Research material includes photocopies of records from BCARS including descriptions of trails in the Shuswap Forest District, lists of Spallumcheen Forest licensees and a brief by Mabel Lake Shingle Ltd. describing the operation and requesting a change in timber allocations for specialty mills.

Includes 'Pioneer Tips and tales' and 'NOCA Provider's Program', reference materials on the dairy industry, rough drafts and general notes for articles on NOCA, correspondence, homestead patent (1895) and original article on Valecairn Farm, and photographs.

Fonds consists of hand-written original manuscripts by Betty Burton. Includes Betty's story of teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in 1928 in Fort Fraser, a story of Lillian Alling's walk from New York to Dawson in a bid to reach Russia, a history of the Young Ranger Bands, a description of Betty's trip with family from England to Oyama in 1914, a description of two camping holidays in 1944 in Mara and Mabel Lake, a description of a trip down the Shuswap River in a row boat in 1919, and a description of the natural geography of the North Okanagan. It includes a few notes and several lengthy letters to her parents describing in detail experiences during a cruise on the 'Aurania' from Montreal to the Caribbean and around South America to San Francisco and Vancouver in 1940. Fonds also includes certificates from Enderby High School and Provincial Normal School (1922, 1925), a list of settlers' effects (1947) and an autograph album with original drawing and paintings and notes from friends in 1925-1931.
