Barbara Sheppard collection

The collection consists of photographs and negatives of scenes and people in Prince Rupert and the surrounding area collected and/or taken by Barbara Sheppard. It also includes the Coqualeetza Residential School Commencement Annual from June 1929, maps of Port Edward and the surrounding area, the original plan for Prince Edward from 1908, and a map of Clayoquot Sound.

The collection consists of a memoir written in 1999 and data collected by Richard H. Yamanaka concerning the history of Japanese people in Prince Rupert from 1907 to 1942. It includes 2 computer discs and an eight-page copy of his memoir. There are also 5 photographs of Japanese people in Prince Rupert and the interior of Yamanaka's Grocery Store on 3rd Avenue West.

The collection consists of items belonging to Vienna Ciccone. It includes photographs of basketball teams from Prince Rupert and Anyox, a booklet with handwritten notes referring to sales that was produced by C.D. Rand in Vancouver for the auction of Prince Rupert lots in 1909, two scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings of both historical and contemporary photographs, and ephemera.

The collection consists of photographs and negatives of Prince Rupert between 1920 and 1966, two scrapbooks containing clippings from the Prince Rupert Daily News' "A Look Back" column published in the 1960s and 1970s. The photograph collection includes boats and ships in the harbour, the Prince Rupert Drydock buildings and staff, Miller Bay Hospital, Booth Memorial High School, City Hall on Fulton Street, views of Prince Rupert's downtown, parks, and scenery along the Skeena River Highway. Twenty-nine of the photographs are postcards and the remaining are originals. The collection also includes a subdivision plan from 1912 for Smith Island Lots 529, 927, 4415 and Part 926.

John and Vivian Comadina collection

The fonds consists of photographs depicting the Comadinas at their wedding in 1953, at work in 1970 with partner Jack Wrathhall, John in Vancouver on the B.C. Electric Railways Co. Observation Car in 1947, with the staff at Burn's Meats, and the view of Prince Rupert from Summit Avenue taken after 1910. There are also photographs of early Hazelton including a portrait of William Walker Wrathall and a scene inside his shop, another at the wheel of a car with Wiggs O'Neill, children Jack and Bill Wrathall in 1912, and Wiggs O'Neil driving his car with over a dozen passengers in 1912. The textual records include a certificate of service from the Canadian Pacific Railway Company for W.W. Wrathall for length of service January 21 1901 to September 13, 1907 and a 1927 reference letter for W.W. Wrathall from the manager at Canadian National Railways. The scrapbook contains information from 1908 to 1980, including newspaper clippings, wedding invitations, and receipts.

They include images of the Prince Rupert Grain Elevator, the "Queen of Prince Rupert's" first trip to Prince Rupert, CN dock and ships loading, tug boats, fish boats, naval ships, freighters, views from Digby Towers Apartments, aerials of Digby Island and the airport, yacht club, boats at Armour Salvage, Mt. Hays, construction of evaporators at Skeena Cellulose B Mill, homes under construction at Raven Crescent and 180 11th Avenue East, planes, Rupert Square Shopping Mall and Ocean Centre Mall under construction, Court House, and halibut and salmon catches.
