Alexander MacGillivray fonds

Fonds consists of photocopies of three typewritten letters of correspondence between F.B. Anaud and Alexander MacGillivray. They contain reminiscences of living in the town of Antigonish c. 1880. Anaud's father was the agent for the Union Bank of Halifax, located in Antigonish.

Ardellice Sweet fonds

Fonds consists of three scrapbooks created by Ardellice. They contain clippings of local and provincial events, and clippings on the Royal Family of Great Britain. Within the clippings are several letters and photographs. A list of Antigonish residents and their addresses, compiled by Ardellice, is included. Also in the fonds is a photograph of the Antigonish Post Office and one of Ardellice.

Canada Milk Condensing Company fonds

Fonds consists of one ledger used to record accounts of the company. It includes construction account, postage accounts, stock holder investments and customer lists. Also included are four labels that would have been used on the milk cans.

Chalmers Presbyterian Church fonds

Fonds consists of two ledgers and one register. The ledgers record weekly collections, money disbursed and members of the congregation. The register records members of the congregation and important dates within the church, such as marriages and deaths. Miscellaneous papers include special event programs, a financial statement, an annual report and a fire insurance document.

Fonds consists of one hardbound journal which records the shipwrecks - Lily of the Valley, Seaman's Bride, Dashaway, I & W Pitts, Resident and Commissioner reported off the coast of Antigonish County, Nova Scotia. It lists the cargo which was lost and other items that were to be auctioned off. Reports on wrecks were filed so that insurance claims could be settled and salvage operations could begin. The Notary Public was responsible for securing the release of cargo for salvage.
