Collection consists of lantern slides depicting photographs and drawings of First Nations people in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, maps depicting the Dominion of Canada, a photograph album depicting farm scenes along the Canadian Pacific Railways (CPR) line in Manitoba and Assiniboia and a souvenir album for the Fifth Congress of the Chambers of Commerce of the Empire which depicts members of the congress as they traveled to various cities across Canada. The collection also includes a letter from William Aberhart to R.H. Babbage of Westmount, Quebec.

The collection consists of pen and ink drawings, water colours, oil paintings, a tapestry, an engraving, pencil sketches, numbered prints, an acrylic, a lithograph and a colograph. The pictures depict the St. Albert mission, old and new buildings, grain elevators, religious motifs, Father Lacombe and Hector Gervais. The works are by Doug Barry, Keith Bell, Ludo Bogaerdt, Robert Briskie, Carol Brown, Danny Burns, Loren Chabot, G. The collection consists of a sound recording of "The Martyrdom of Nelson Small Legs" from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) program Fifth Estate; and lectures by George Manuel, Harold Cardinal and Ed Burnstick from the University of Calgary lecture series "Contemporary Indian Issues".

The fonds consists of 6 VHS cassette copies of recordings of the Video Tape Recording Project at Brocket, Alberta.

Collection consists of copied photographs dating 1901-ca.1940 that depict various people, views, and buildings in Peace River, Alberta including street views, an airplane, an oil well, a First Nations camp, a ferry, school children, boats, a funeral procession, and flood waters. Fonds also includes a postcard depicting the King George Hotel in Cochrane, Alberta dated 1910.

The collection consists of typescripts of interviews (1955-1956), reminiscences, diaries (1897-1914), and autobiographies; files of biographical and historical notes; and photographs of pioneers and the area. Includes typescripts of Fort St. John fur trade post journal (1866-1924), and Fort Dunvegan post account book (1837-1864).

Most photographs were taken in Alaska, but also represented are the Yukon, Virginia, Maryland and Texas. Texas photographs are of oil fields and refineries, ca. 1917. Most photographs are dated and include descriptive captions. Photographs received in albums but removed for conservation purposes.
