The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, primarily from Island papers from 15 August 1989 to 3 December 1992 documenting the controversy surrounding the proposal to build a fixed link (ultimately Confederation Bridge) between Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. The scrapbook was kept by Jim Johnson of the P.E.I. Department of Development.
