IODE, Victoria-Guelph Chapter newletters

Series consists of Echoes the official publication of the Imperial Order of Daughters of the Empire (IODE). Published quarterly, the magazine documented the activities and programs of the national IODE.

The records are arranged chronologically by year.

Royal City Quilters Guild historical records

Series consists of seventeen photograph albums containing photographs, newsletters, and newspaper clippings created and or accumulated by the Guild during the course of their activities in promoting and preserving the craft of quilting. The photographs are of quilt shows, speakers, and workshops organized by the Guild many containing captions. The newsletters contain notes from the president, news of upcoming events and tips on quilting. These records document the history and activities of the Royal City Quilters Guild.

Creative Arts Association promotional records

This series consists primarily of monthly newletters produced by the Creative Arts Association. There may be some missing editions. In additon, there is one file containing exhibition posters and another containing general publicity information. Note newsletters for the years 2005-2009 were interfiled with the executive records.

Creative Arts Association executive records

This series consists primarily of minutes kept for the meetings of the Creative Arts Association's Executive Committee. There are some gaps in the years covered. Note that minutes from the Association's annual general meetings (AGM) were often interfiled in these minutes although there are two independent files of AGM minutes. Newsletters and minutes of the special board meetings created by the association were also interfiled with the minutes. In addition, this series also includes by-laws, Treasurer's Reports, membership lists, one file on visioning and planning workshop, and Executive Committee member’s listings. This series of records documents the executive decision making process of the Association.

Genealogy research materials collected by Robert Barry Scott

Series consists of family history rearch materials created and or acquired by Robert Barry Scott during the course of researching his family's history. Included are the Scott family tree complied by Robert Scott, the Scroggie family tree, biographies of Mr. Scott and other family members, and orginal hand written letters with transcriptions.
