Caledonian Club fonds

This fonds consists of 2 membership record books which record dues paid by members of the Club from 1875-1884 and several programs for anniversary dinners and concerts as well as calendars of the club's lecture series. The fonds also contains a booklet entitled "The Caledonia Club of Prince Edward Island Annual Awards, 1997-2007" which has biographical information about award winners, as well as a brief history of the Club, a list of the executive members for 2007, and a biography of one 2010 recipient clipped to the back of the booklet. There are also 7 images which relate directly or indirectly to the Caledonian Club and one which is a sale advertisement for Prowse Bros. Ltd.

Ladies Auxiliary to the Prince Edward Island Provincial Command of the Royal Canadian Legion

Frank G. O'Neill fonds

This fonds consists of the records (1940-1950) of Frank "Huck" O'Neill of Prince Edward Island, a prisoner of war in Hong Kong and Japan during World War II. Frank served as entertainment officer at the camps and the fonds includes several records related to his activities in this role (ca. 1941-1945), including scripts, programs, sports schedules, game and tournament information, and lists of officers in the camp. The fonds also includes a detailed personal account of Frank's experience at the Shumshuipo POW camp in Hong Kong. Correspondence with Frank's wife and his mother while he was a prisoner, as well as post-war correspondence with the Department of National Defense, Knights of Columbus, the federal Minister of Finance, fellow POW survivors, and correspondence regarding dependant allowance plans, rental administration, and his brothers Charles and J. R. O'Neill are also included. The fonds also includes a few items relating to Frank's post-war involvement in community theatre.

This fonds consists of Minutebooks and Treasurer's Books of the Kings County Ladies Auxiliary. The minutebooks contain minutes of the regular monthly and annual meetings held between January 1951 and April 2002. The Treasurer's books include the annual financial statements and monthly accounts of receipts and expenditures between 1956 and 1979. The fonds also includes a brief history of the Ladies Auxiliary prepared by its members.
