Board of Trustees of the Ontario Cancer Institute sousfonds

Sousfonds consists of minutes of meetings of the Board and their various subcommittees along with correspondence, reports, financial records, recommendations for staff appointments, curriculum vitae, hospital by-laws and other documentation referred to in the minutes. Sousfonds reflects the involvement of the Board with the establishment and maintenance of the Ontario Cancer Institute/Princess Margaret Hospital, and the Board's relationship with the University of Toronto and other teaching hospitals. Files are arranged in series by committee, and then chronologically by date, as per original binders. Minutes of the Board had been kept in nine separate binders, within which minutes were filed in reverse chronological order. In addition, minutes from the Executive Committee comprised six separate binders, minutes of the Budget and Finance Committee comprised two separate binders and minutes from smaller subcommittees had their own individual binders. All files have been arranged in chronological order. The Office of the Secretary to the Board records have not been altered.

Sous-fonds consists of newspaper articles (original and transcribed), photographs, one oil painting created by Mrs. Margery Greenwood, several political cartoons, and other reference materials related to 1st Viscount Greenwood. Also in the sous-fonds is a book written and signed by the Viscount. Various photographs of the Viscount are also included. Finally, there is material and correspondence relating to the planning and celebration of various functions held in Greenwood's honour in Whitby, ON.

Atlantic Centre of Support for Disabled Students sous-fonds

Sous-fonds forms part of Saint Mary's University Student Services fonds and consists of of brochures (n.d.), an access awareness report which may have helped establish the Atlantic Centre (1981), an annual report (1988/1989), Atlantic Centre Learning Disabilities Program Position Paper 3 (1991), information on conferences (1996), correspondence (1985-1993), monthly bulletin (October and December 1985), information on the notetaking program (n.d.), Report on Physical Accessibility of Atlantic Universities (n.d.), and Teaching Disabled Students: Guidelines for Faculty (1988).

The Pas Postal Directory collection

The Pas Postal Directory collection consists of the postal directories arranged by profession and/or occupation code numbers, business box numbers, P.O. Box numbers, and general delivery. The first mail deliveries began in 1856 courtesy of the Hudson Bay Company store. The first separate post office was located next door to the HBC store. After the Town of The Pas’ incorporation in 1912, the first appointed Post Master was R. H. Bagshaw. The current Post Office at 161 Fischer Avenue was constructed in 1932 by the Federal Government to house the Post Office, Customs Office and RCMP. The building now houses the Post Office and government offices.

Point Roberts Heron Preservation Committee sous fonds

Sous fonds consists of materials collected by Martin Keeley, and others, during his time as founder/director of the Point Roberts Heron Preservation Committe. The materials were generated from both his home in Point Roberts as well as the offices in Ladner, B.C. and Point Roberts, Washington.

Textual materials emails, letters, memos, notes, brochures, newsletters, articles, press releases, meeting minutes, presentations, addresses, statements, receipt books, month end materials, quotes and membership information that Martin Keeley or others may have thought pertained to the Point Roberts Heron Preservation Committee. The newspaper articles have been removed from the textual material and placed in the Martin Keeley and Friends of Boundary Bay Newspaper Clippings Binders. These binders can be found on the Reference Library bookshelves.

Photograph material includes photograph prints, contact sheets, negatives and aerials regarding events attended and hosted by the Point Roberts Heron Preservation Committee.
