Item is a photograph of the female employees of George E. Ford’s All Purpose Store which was located on Main Street, Sackville, NB.

From left to right:
First Row: Alice Wry (Cashier) who later became Mrs. T. A. Siddal, Lizzie Siddal (T. A.’s sister)
Second Row: Miss McLean of St. John (Head Milliner), Lizzie Gillis, Mabel Lena Wry who was the Head Milliner before marrying John B. Alward
Third Row: Jennie Amos, Casey Chase who became Mrs. Willard Bowser, and Nita Atkinson.

Fonds consists of mostly glass plate negatives and some glass plate transparencies. The images are from locations where John A. Johnston resided and worked. The majority of the images are of mine pit locations and wilderness scenes. There are also some images of unidentified people and buildings in Toronto.

Fonds consists of an album given to Mary Tucker by her grandfather who had received it in the early 1900s as a gift from the Japanese Diet. The album consists of a series of hand-tinted silk screen reproductions depicting a variety of Japanese scenes and landmarks. Each individual silk screen is labeled with the subject of the image. The covers of the album are black lacquer with a floral image in gold on the back cover and a scene in relief of a woman and a boy sweeping on the front cover.
