Collection consists of two ledger-sized scrapbooks of theatre-related clippings from Winnipeg newspapers from 1914 to 1927 and one smaller scrapbook listing, alphabetically, the people profiled in J. B. McGeachy’s “I First Saw” column in the Winnipeg Free Press from 1921-1929.

Fonds consists of Lindstrom's professorial and scholarly research files throughout her career, as well as records documenting her academic activities. Research files pertain to her publications and monographs such as "Defiant Sisters : A Social History of Finnish Immigrant Women in Canada, 1890-1930" (both the English and Finnish editions), and "From Heroes to Enemies : Finns in Canada, 1937-1947," as well as book chapters, articles, papers, presentations and lectures, and her involvement with the National Film Board production "Letters from Karelia," and subsequent research. The research files span the activities of Finnish and Finnish-Canadian organizations across the political spectrum, such as the Finnish Organization of Canada (left wing), and Loyal Finns in Canada (right wing). Records include oral history interviews (audio cassettes and transcripts), research notes, clippings, a significant and extensive number of photograph and letter collections passed down through generations of Finnish Canadians, diaries, correspondence, publication drafts, academic and professorial notes, microfilm of Finnish language newspapers published in Canada and archival records, financial records of Finnish-Canadian organizations such as newspapers and post-World War II relief funding bodies, scrapbooks, photocopies of rare and unusual documents such as two volumes of a Soviet register of Finnish War Crimes, a list of persons found in the mass grave at Karhumaki, and Soviet lists of North American Finns who journeyed to Karelia to help build a socialist utopia there, academic and professorial files, publicity files, files pertaining to her work with the School of Women's Studies, and her own papers as a university student. The fonds also includes letters written by Lindstrom as a newly-arrived teenaged immigrant to Canada to her best friend in Finland; many of these letters were published in Finnish with English translation in 'Letters from an immigrant teenager' in 2012.

The bulk of the records concern the administration of the Association itself and address issues related to governance, financial management, and member recruitment. Other records concern the Association’s public activities, including sponsorship of concerts featuring works by Canadian women composers and other public initiatives intended to increase awareness of and provide support for Canadian women composers. The collection consists of records aquired by the Association of Canadian Women Composers archives. The materials, which include musical scores and sheet music, concert programs and flyers, media clippings, and sound recordings, were donated by ACWC members. They document the activities and contributions of women composers in Canada and elsewhere.
Records consist of two series: Composer Files containing materials that relate to a single composer subject, and Other Materials containing records that relate either to multiple composers or to the subject of women composers more generally.

The fonds consists of Dr. Joan Finkle de Peña’s manuscripts, articles and lecture notes pertaining to her academic teaching career at St. Louis University, and the University of Manitoba. The fonds also consists of material pertaining to her research in Puerto Rico when she was a graduate student, as well as a her academic research work with her studies of the Inuit of the North, during her tenure as a faculty member with the Department of Anthropology, University of Manitoba. In addition there are textual records pertaining to her involvement with various national and international professional associations, including the Sigma Xi Scientific Society. The collection also contains a total of 4624 photographs, 90 negatives, and 1,125 photo slides.

Les documents textuels sont des spicilèges de coupures de presse de la carrière radiophonique, journalistique et artistique de Gilles Proulx. Les enregistrements sonores comprennent des dossiers de l'émission «Journal du midi» sur les ondes des postes de radio CJMS et CKAC de Montréal ainsi que des entrevues réalisées par Monsieur Proulx. Les sujets abordés sont, entre autres : Maurice Duplessis, Fidel Castro, John F. Kennedy et la Bosnie. Les entrevues le sont avec Robert Bourassa et James Earl Ray, le présumé assassin de Martin Luther King. Les vidéos témoignent de la participation et des propos de Gilles Proulx, à titre d'invité, à différentes émissions télévisuelles. Les sujets abordés sont, entre autres : le monde de la boxe; la crise d'Oka; la langue des québécois; la météo au Canada; la radio; l'émeute au Forum de Montréal au temps de Maurice Richard; les sports; les voyages au Népal et à Malte avec Gilles Proulx à titre d'accompagnateur; l'inauguration de l'Expo '67; Maurice Duplessis; Alex et Dave Hilton; Régis Lévesque. Nous y retrouvons également une entrevue de Gilles Proulx réalisée par Denise Bombardier. Le disque compact est un album de chansons et de sketches du groupe Crampe en masse intitulé «Crampe en masse et le hot dog géant» avec la participation de Gilles Proulx. Les objets sont, entre autres, une médaille de guerre du service au front, une médaille de la République française et un macaron de la presse émis lors de la visite du Général de Gaulle au Québec. La deuxième acquisition du fonds Gilles Proulx comprend 0.335 m.l. de documents textuels, 36 documents audio-visuels dont 14 cassettes VHS, 14 DVD, 8 cassettes audio et 3 objets. Les documents textuels comprennent de la correspondance, de la publicité relative à la promotion de ses livres, des contrats d’engagement pour des émissions télévisées et radiophoniques, des spicilèges de coupures de presse de ses voyages ou relatant des moments de sa carrière, 1988-2007. Les documents audiovisuels portent sur des émissions télévisées et radiophoniques animées ou avec la participation de Gilles Proulx, notamment les émissions D’ici et d’ailleurs, Le Grand Journal à TQS, L’avocat et le diable, Globe Trotter et Évangélisation 2000, 1967-2007. Nous y retrouvons finalement 3 plaques honorifiques remises à Gilles Proulx, 1996-2006. La troisième acquisition du fonds Gilles Proulx (2009-11-002) contient des synopsis d'émissions de télévison, de la correspondance d'affaires et des contrats d'engagement. Cet ajout contient aussi des documents télévisuels sur dévédéroms et cédéroms d’émissions télévisées animées ou avec la participation de Gilles Proulx, par exemple : Tout le monde en parle (SRC), Sucré-Salé (TVA), Bons Baisers de France (SRC), Cabine C (ARTV); des émissions radiophoniques sur dévédéroms et cédéroms animées ou avec la participation de Gilles Proulx sur les ondes de CJMS, CKAC et de 98,5FM; des médailles; dont la Bene Merenti de Patria de la Société Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Montréal et la Légion du mérite de la Société Napoléonienne Internationale

This fonds consists of material on the aboriginal history, culture, education, health, housing, and politics. Walter Rudnicki was an active participant in many of the subjects collected by him in the course of his life. In the most cases, this material is organized into themes and contains correspondence, government documents, reports, press releases, newspaper clippings, and documents of many aboriginal organizations and their leaders.
