John Edward Brant fonds

The fonds consists of a certificate of service in the Royal Navy, 1912-1922; genealogical records of John Brant and his family, including certificates of birth, marriage and death of Brant and his wife Elsie Reed Brant, and his father John Ojijatekha Brant-Sero, 1914-1958; and a typescript of a family history by Brant-Sero, "Some Descendants of Joseph Brant."

The fonds consists of photographs taken during Cameron's travels up the Mackenzie River with her niece, Jessie Cameron Brown, May to September, 1908, and photographs taken during Cameron's trip to Britain, 1909-1911. Some Canadian photographs were published in Cameron's book "The New North: Being Some Account of a Woman's Journey Through Canada to the Arctic" (1910).

The fonds consists of a typescript of Coles' 1864 diary, in which she describes various social activities connected with the conference, her travels to and from Quebec, and meeting people such as John A. MacDonald and Darcy McGee. Also included is a copy of a letter to Mrs. George Coles from Lady Bannerman, wife of Sir Alexander Bannerman, Governor of Prince Edward Island. The front of the manuscript is inscribed, "Mrs. Bruce Marr, Elmira, Ontario."

Henry Drummond Dee fonds
