Confederation Centre Film Society fonds

The fonds consists of general correspondence and financial statements of the film society from 1964 to 1967, publicity documents and membership lists from 1964 to 1965, as well as a constitution dated the 8 March 1965. Program information from 1964 to 1966 contains information on the films viewed by the society and evaluation sheets, as well as correspondence relating to these films.

Cavendish Literary Society fonds

This fonds consists of a volume containing the original minutes of the Cavendish Literary Society covering the time period 19 February 1886 to 7 January 1924 and a 164 page typed transcript of the same minutes. Included in the first pages of the minutes are the constitution and by-laws of the Society as well as the regulations for the management of the library.

Report of the Sixth Annual Session of the Provincial Grand Lodge, Loyal Orange Institution of Prince Edward Island

The Report of the Sixth Annual Session of the Loyal Orange Lodge was held at the Provincial Lodge in Charlottetown on Tuesday, the 14 February 1866. This report contains an address given by Provincial Grand Master Sir J.B. Cooper which discussed such topics as the unsuccessful attempts of the lodge to apply for an act of incorporation in 1863, the Fenian Invasions of 1865, the Grand Council meeting in London, England on the 17th July 1865, to which PEI was to send one representative, as well as information concerning the opening of new lodges throughout PEI that year. The report also contains the reports of the finance, correspondence, and appeals committees, and the minutes of the semi-annual meeting held at the Provincial Grand Lodge on the 3 July 1866, and the financial statement for the Loyal Orange Lodge of PEI for 1866.

This fonds consists of one volume of minutes detailing the meetings of the Charlottetown Philharmonic Society for the period 1901-1903. The volume also contains details of practices and rehearsals, lists of members, financial statements, and newspaper clippings of concert reviews.

Queen Mary's Needlework Guild fonds

This fonds consists of three volumes of annual reports for the Charlottetown branch of the Queen Mary's Needlework Guild covering the period 1952-1970. The volumes also contain newspaper clippings about the activities of the branch, as well as statements documenting finances and expenditure. The fonds also includes a booklet describing the Order of Service for the Burial of Her Majesty Queen Mary, a copy of the book "Queen Mary's Needlework Guild: Its Work During the Great War", published by St. James' Palace and accompanied by a signed letter from Queen Mary. In addition, the fonds also contains several certificates that were granted to the branch in recognition of its valuable work, a copy of a speech delivered by Mrs. A. A. Bartlett describing the origins of the Queen Mary's Needlework Guild, as well as a photograph of the "Guild Home" in Quebec bearing an inscription to Mrs. Bartlett.

This fonds consists of copies of the Constitution and By-Laws of the Gyro Club of Charlottetown for 1938 and 1947 and some undated copies of the latter, an Executive Manual of Gyro produced by Gyro International (1948), two copies of the news bulletin "Gyrolore" (1940, 1946), several programmes and menus for the 1932 District VI Gyro Convention, a Gyro song book, and a pamphlet entitled "Gyro, Its Origin, Growth and Expansion". Also included are Gyro club membership lists (1969), miscellaneous newspaper clippings, and a photograph of the Gyro Club, ca. 1941-1942.

Grand Division of the Sons of Temperance of Prince Edward Island fonds

This fonds consists of three volumes of the minutes of the Grand Division of the Sons of Temperance for the period 1853, 1862-1868 and 1881-1892. The volumes include statistical information detailing numbers admitted and expelled, pledge violations, membership reinstatements, and youth enrollments.

This fonds consists of one volume which was used as a minute book for the "Lily Lodge" in 1871 to 1876 and the "Phenix Lodge" in 1880 to 1881. The volume contains meeting minutes detailing the activities and finances of the groups. At the back of the volume are a Roll of Members for the Lily Lodge for the years 1868 to 1876, and the By-Laws of both lodges.
