The fonds contains records of baptisms, marriages, and burials as well as annual, congregational, official board, and trustee minutes of the Methodist and Presbyterian circuits which eventually made up the Alberton Elmsdale Pastoral Charge of the United Church of Canada. These have been intellectually arranged into the following five series:

Series 1: Alberton Circuit of the Methodist Church
Series 2: Alberton Charge of the Presbyterian Church
Series 3: Montrose Circuit of the Presbyterian Church
Series 4: Alberton Pastoral Charge of the United Church
Series 5: Cascumpec United Church

Records overlap and some of the post 1925 United Church records (Series 4) are contained within the record books of the Methodist and Presbyterian churches (Series 1 & 2)

The fonds contains Methodist, Presbyterian, and United Church records principally for the circuits of Bedeque, Richmond Bay East, and Freetown including the smaller communities contained within the changing circuits. These are comprised of baptism, marriage and burial records, lists of clergy, officials and communicants, official pastoral charges and individual church minutes, annual reports, financial records, and records of various church organizations. For the purposes of description these have been organized into the following series:
Series 1: North Bedeque pastoral charge
Series 2: Richmond Bay East United pastoral charge
Series 3: Bedeque United Church
Series 4: Freetown United Church

The fonds consists of baptisms, marriages and deaths of the Margate Pastoral Charge of the United Church and of its predecessor churches, the Methodist Church in Margate and the Presbyterian Church in Princetown. It also contains Quarterly Board minutes and membership records of the Methodist Margate circuit and a Minute book of the Princetown-Lot 16 United pastoral charge. These have been arranged in the following series:

Series 1: Margate Methodist/United Church
Series 2: Princetown Presbyterian/United Church
Series 4: Princetown-Lot 16 pastoral charge

The fonds consists of congregational, trustee and session minutes of St. Andrew's Presbyterian/United Church, stipend ledgers and other financial records of the church, and minutes and membership records of the Ladies Aid Society and the Women's Missionary Society. These are divided into three series as follows:

Series 1: Official minutes
Series 2: Financial records
Series 3: Women's groups

The fonds contains records of the successive Bible Christian, Methodist and United congregations of Pownal. It also contains some records from the Orwell Head and Vernon River Methodist/United charges. These includes baptisms, marriages and deaths, official minutes, membership rolls, and minutes of church women's groups. These form the following series:

Series 1: Pownal Methodist/United Church records
Series 2: Orwell Head Presbyterian/United Church records
Series 3: Vernon River United Church records

The fonds consists of the baptismal, marriage, death, and membership records and minutes of official bodies of the Methodist, Presbyterian, and United pastoral circuits and charges which preceded the present Mt. Stewart/St. Peters Bay pastoral charge of the United Church of Canada as well as some miscellaneous records of the charge itself. An attempt has been made to use the most consistently used name of these charges from the many variations while assigning the following series:

Series 1: West St. Peters/Mt. Stewart Presbyterian Charge
Series 2: Mt. Stewart, Marie and Black River Methodist Circuit
Series 3: St. Peters Bay Presbyterian Charge
Series 4: St. Peters Bay pastoral charge of the United Church
Series 5: Mt. Stewart/West St. Peters pastoral charge of the United Church
Series 6: Mt. Stewart/St. Peters pastoral charge

Those records which cover a time period which surrounds 1925 have been placed in the series to which the majority of the records belong.

This fonds consists of 4 microfilm reels of Cavendish-Breadalbane United Church pastoral charge records spanning the years 1845-2007. Included are: baptismal, marriage, and death records; lists of communicants, pastors, and elders; and minutes for the Breadalbane, Cavendish, and Granville congregations. The second microfilm reel also contains a communion role for North Rustico. The third and fourth reels include minutes for Cavendish, Breadalbane, and Rose Valley.

This fonds contains a microfilm copy of the records of St. David's United Church, Georgetown, Prince Edward Island, from 1841 to 1984. These have been intellectually arranged into the following series:

The fonds consists of baptism, marriage, and death records of the Methodist, and Presbyterian churches which united to form this pastoral charge as well as records of the charge itself. It also includes membership and financial records and the minutes of official church groups. These have been intellectually organized into the following series:

Series 2: Bay Fortune/Souris Presbyterian Charge
Series 3: Souris/Bay Fortune Pastoral Charge

The fonds consists of vital statistics and administrative records of the Tryon/Hampton pastoral charge of the United Church of Canada and its predecessors, the Methodist and Presbyterian charges of those areas. Forming separate series are the adminstrative and group records of the United churches at Tryon and Crapaud. They have been broken down into the following series:
