This fonds includes political and public correspondence, petitions, reports belonging to Sir Leonard Tilley and papers related to Alice Tilley's involvement in women's and benevolent organizations. There are business and personal correspondence, receipts, leases, and account books of Tilley and his wife.

Statistical information on: Saint John Post Office employees' salaries, 1866, 1872; ships built and registered in New Brunswick, 1863-1871; imports and exports for New Brunswick 1863-1871, all probably assembled as background information for Sir Leonard, is also included.

This fonds consists of the business and political records of A. P. Paterson. The business records include three letter books dated 1900-1909 recording Baird and Peter's business in Puerto Rico importing goods such as molasses. There are also printed advertisements and price lists.

The political records include typescripts of articles and speeches, published pamphlets relating to Maritime Rights and the British North America (BNA) Act, and reports on Royal Commissions. There is correspondence about Paterson's duties as Minister of Education and Municipal and Federal Affairs, and applications for government jobs primarily from Saint John residents and firms with references to a patronage committee. There are articles, correspondence, speeches and drafts of speeches on Maritime Rights and the British North America Act.

There is also a section of printed ephemera which includes poetry from the "Evening Gazette", Saint John, 1889; regulations of Municipal Employment office in Saint John, 1939; an address by Emile Vaillancourt to the Kiwanis Club of Montreal entitled "When Montreal was 200 years old" and a brief by the Canadian Teachers Federation to the Federal Government in 1949.

The collection consists of copy prints of older photographs of Sir Robert J. Pinsent and other family members. Subjects include the Pinsent property at Salmonier, Newfoundland; fishing on the Little River, Codroy; opening of the House of Assembly (1896); view of St. John's; and scenes of the Newfoundland railway.

Fonds also includes printed material related to his life.

Parsons & Sons, St. John's and a group photograph by Holloway of the members of the FPU, identified, who were elected as members of the Newfoundland House of Assembly in 1919.

The fonds also includes one confidential letter to William V. Whiteway from Robert Bond, dated 23 June 1891, which examined the prospects of the Confederation between Newfoundland and Canada.

Fonds reflects the life and activities, in a public as well as private capacity, of the former City of North Vancouver mayor, John Edwin Loucks, spanning the years from the late 1940s into the first decade of the twenty-first century. Loucks' records are arranged in twelve series. The records consist of correspondence, agendas, photographs, cards, certificates and honours, events programmes, meeting minutes and reports, maps, pamphlets and newspaper clippings.

The fonds consists of photographs of the March of Dimes campaign in Prince Rupert in 1954 and photographs of the Royal Purple members circa 2000s. Peter and Mary Lester fonds

The fonds consists of records referring to Peter Lester's time as mayor. There is one item of correspondence from the State of Alaska thanking Peter for travelling to Ketchikan for the inauguration of MV Wickersmith in 1968. There are photographs taken between 1958-1992 of trips to China and Japan, the unveiling of the restored Japanese fishing boat Kazu Maru in Prince Rupert's Mariner's Park, the interior of the courthouse and CityWest, city crews, road construction, streets, official openings, presentations and visits by politicians. There are also photographs of the fire hall on Fulton Street, the swimming pool on 2nd Ave., parks, housing, the airport ferry, golf course, ball fields, sawmill, the seaplane base at Seal Cove, Philip M. Ray Insurance and Travel, the Chatham Daycare, RCMP and RCMP ball, a baseball team and Bernice Liu being honoured at a celebration. There is also a photograph of mayor and council when Dr. R.G. Large became Freeman of the City in 1977. There are cassette recordings from interviews on radio with Peter and some of dictated letters from the mayor's office, a diary from 1961, newspaper clippings from 1958-1966, and certificates. It contains a certificate Mary received from the Prince Rupert Community Council and negatives, film cassettes and film indexes that depicting community celebrations and family events such as birthdays, parades, dance recitals, weddings and graduations from 1988 to 1993.
