The collection consists of material related to youth recreation and activities in Alberta including a post-summer evaluation of Edmonton's playground and parks program dating from 1958, a report on the proceedings of Western Recreation Conference held in the Banff School of Fine Arts in Banff, Alberta, dating from 1958, a report on a playground teacher's training course for Edmonton Recreation Department dating from 1959, and the minutes of a meeting of the Edmonton Council of Community Services, Youth Service Division, Executive Workshop dating from 1959.

The collection consists of notes, pamphlets, publications, related to issues concerning women such as equality, birth control, and sexuality collected by an anonymous donor dating from 1973 to 1976.

The collection consists of records pertaining the Edson Kinsmen Centennial Trail Ride including images documenting the journey, research materials related to the journey, correspondence, reports, publications recounting the journey dating from 1966 -- 1967 as well as original photographs from a journey on the Edson Grande Prairie Trail dating from 1912; materials related to the centennial celebration commemorating bush pilots including clippings from The Edmonton Journal, and photographs capturing the celebration dating from 1967; and materials pertaining to the Athabasca to Edmonton trail ride dating from 1966 including Wes Mattie's notebook, a typed log of the trip, newspaper clippings, and images from the journey.

The collection consists of photocopies of two original letters and then photocopies of translations by Eleanor Aubrey of letters, originally dating 1933 to 1935, to John Bodvan (Bodfan) Anwyl, a Congregational minister, lexicographer and author in Wales, from Rev. Thomas Edward Jeffreys. Jeffreys had studied to become a minister, but as he had little chance of becoming a minister as he was becoming deaf, he left for Canada in 1905 and homesteaded in the Ponoka area. Beginning in 1921 until 1939, other than three years he spent in Calgary, Alberta, he was the minister at Magic Field, as well as Climax and Eureka.

The collection consists of three audio reels containing 16 hours of recorded stories and legends recounted by eight Cree Elders of the Wabasca/Desmarais area. Ray Yellowstone captured these stories in 1968.

Collection consists of copied photographs that date from 1912 to circa (ca.) 1923 which depict various people, buildings, and views in Vegreville, Alberta including members of the Girl Guides, army troops on trains, school buildings and students, including the Aplomb and Imperial schools, various farming scenes, Galician settlers, houses, hospitals, churches, banks, grain elevators, and street views. Fonds also contains a panoramic view of Vegreville, Alberta and some collage images.

The collection consists of 456 glass plate lantern slides featuring images relating to cartography, natural resources, First Nations, northern Alberta communities, and the oil and gas industry. Some of the images may have been created by Harry Pollard.
