Fonds consists of printouts of compilation of the commissioning and paying off dates of the Canadian Navy’s 60 Castle class trawlers and 100 Canadian-built Admiralty wood drifters built at the end of the First World War. The lists are arranged by the companies that built the Canadian Navy trawlers and wood drifters.

Fonds consists of a 1998 videocassette entitled “Memorial Stone Cairn Dedication 431 Iroquois and 434 Bluenose 18 July 1998, RCAC Station Trenton, Ontario Canada”. The Memorial Stone Cairn was constructed on 18 July 1998 in memory Second World War personnel for those who served in the 431 “Iroquois” and 434 “Bluenose” Squadrons at Burn, Tholthorpe and Yorkshire, England. It is located in Trenton.

Fonds consists of a manual “Guide to the Divisional System”. It was issued in 1975 on the authority of the Commander Maritime Command to provide advice, based upon experience, and greater detail to enable the effective application of the principles of the Divisional System. The manual is divided into twelve chapters and each chapter discussed such subjects as leadership, personnel documentation, postings, discipline and morale, etc. the various principles of the system such as leadership. The guide also explained the different responsibilities and roles of the Divisional Officer (DO), the Divisional Chief Officer (DCPO) and the Division (the subordinates), as well as the different rules in the Divisional System.

George Selkirk Currie fonds

Fonds consists a report prepared by George Selkirk Currie in 1952 on the Canadian Army works services with special reference to irregularities uncovered at Camp Petawawa. The report is divided in four parts:

1) The irregularities at Petawawa and their causes
2) Proposed re-organization of the army works services
3) Problems in regard to re-organization of the army works services and recommendations for their solution
4) Conclusion and recommendation

The report is 74 pages long and includes an appendix. There are also charts and statistics on Camp Petawawa and other camps.

Fonds consists of photographs of minor naval vessels getting repairs and refits. The photographs were taken during the 1980s. Most of the photographs are of damaged equipment and/or sections of the ship that need to be replaced. Some of the ships photographed include: Acadian, PB 192 Detector, Port Dauphine, YTS 589 Loganville, PB 193 Captor, and PB 196 Nicolson and approximately fifty other named ships. Some of the photographs are accompanied by technical specifications on the ships. The specification list includes the model of ship, number of engines, dimensions and crew compliment.

Nigel Brodeur fonds

Fonds consists of textual records and photographs spanning Vice Admiral Brodeur’s educational and naval career from 1947 to 1987 and post retirement activities to 2012 but predominantly to 2007. It is arranged in a rough chronological order, consisting of twenty-five series of records corresponding to different functions, activities, institutions or offices that Brodeur occupied during his educational and naval careers and subsequently into retirement after 1987. Records include correspondence, lecture materials, term papers, certificates, notebooks, workbooks, personnel records, reports, biographical materials, schedules, operational records, conference materials, minutes of meetings, speeches, and other miscellaneous materials. These series comprise educational activities, career duties or postings, and retirement activities. There is also a series of colour and black and white photographs for the period up to 1989. Roger Sharpe fonds

Fonds consists of 1 published volume regarding the early volunteer militia of Brant County, Ontario during 1856- 1866. Includes information on the roots of the militia in Brant County; significant experiences of the militia, including the Fenian invasion of 1866; descriptions of the units of service, including rifle, infantry, truck and railway companies; and the creation of the 38th Brant Battalion of Infantry. Also includes illustrations and personal recollections of former reserves. Fonds provides officer lists of companies within the county including those awarded medals, militia acts, general orders, memoranda, weapons, and uniforms at this time. There is also a photocopy of the July 1944 issue of the "Brantford Skyline". The issue was published by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) No. 5 Service Flying Training School.
