The collection consists of photocopies of eight research papers, reports and statistical surveys concerning the river system and docking operations of the Alaska Railroad. See location descriptions for titles.

This fonds consists of corporate records of the Alaska - Yukon Refiners and Distributors and 345 maps and plans of the plant and pipeline. There is correspondence and equipment orders for 1959, and employment applications and personnel correspondence, 1958-1959.

The fonds consists of two folders of correspondence to R.A. Kinzie [Kenzie?], General Superintendent of Alaska Treadwell Gold Mining Company at Treadwell City near Juneau, Alaska. The correspondence originated from: Whitehorse and Carcross, Yukon; Bennett and Atlin, British Columbia; and from F.W. Bradley, San Francisco, California. Included in the correspondence is a letter about coal lands from W.F. Schabel of Whitehorse, and from I.E. Fleming at Carcross, who was employed by Dail & Fleming Mines Ltd., at Windy Arm.

The fonds primarily consists of black and white photographs taken by Barnes, of scenes along the Alaska Highway, and in Dawson City and Whitehorse during the 1940s. One series of photographs includes captions by Barnes; another series consists of small snapshot albums containing photographs taken along the Alaska Highway between northern British Columbia and the Alaska border, with several of the Teslin area. Other images include buildings, planes, vehicles, sternwheelers, First Nations cemetery and crafts, a giant mosquito and various individuals. There are also photographs of events at Dawson City: parades; a gathering of the Yukon Order of Pioneers (YOOP) in Dawson City; a Governor-General's visit to Dawson City; Charles Barnes and his home and offices in Dawson City. There are also 30 postcards included in the fonds, one addressed to Barnes' mother. The fonds is arranged in four series : Postcards; Captioned photographs; Photographs from Snapshot Booklets; Assorted photographs. Included with the fonds is an identification key for 28 of the photographs.

The fonds consists of photographs taken by Father Drean of people and scenes in Teslin, Yukon in the 1950s.

The collection consists of photographs collected by Bert Gibson, from his life in Dawson City, Yukon 1898-1900. There are views of the Gibson family, pack trains, Hotel Donovan and the first cow in Dawson City.

Collection consists of 7 negs and reference prints made from originals. Photographs are of various members of the Webber family and friends in different locations.

This collection consists of 3 b&w photographs of the first Grand Ball of the Dawson L.O.O.M. No. 1393 in the Arctic Brotherhood Hall February 1914; a fire in Dawson City, Yukon February 1917; and a group on the Midnight Dome June 21, 1918. Also included are photocopies of the photos indicating Mrs. Knottner's mother, father and sisters.

The fonds consists of a variety of material including copies of the Mayo- Keno and the Mayo Miner bulletins (1924 and 1937), correspondence and a newspaper clipping relating to Old Crow, Yukon, an envelope from Mrs. John F. Kennedy addressed to the McCarters, photographs of the Yukon Order of Pioneers (YOOP) and Keno Mining Museum, and a copy of "Ballads of a Cheechako" by Robert Service.

The fonds consists of photographs depicting the land reconnaissance for the Oil Pipeline Route over the Mackenzie Mountains, the Firth River Stampede, as well as family scenes in the Yukon.
